OTHER INFORMATION: Only females. PRO: A woman's 'Haven'. Pratical business. The Kries are an all female organization that shows a distinct preference to vampyric women, not that it has ever been one to close it's doors to mortals or weres. But, despite that evident that fact, no Coven has sought to be a part of the Kries, nor has the womanhood sought to remedy that at all. To say the Kries are entirely innocent of all bad acts is wrong. They are more a mild, lukewarm criminal organization. They focus on monopolizing the business world and are a clear staple to anyone seeking to get into the city and open up shop. Many executives and men see the Kries as� a courtesan network but that, my dears, is wrong. Seductive and charismatic many of the Kries are, but they are not glorified prostitutes and simply enjoy handling matters in a more diplomatic, gentle way� It is a rule of thumb for all who seek to do business with the Kries to remember one thing. As stunning and exquisite they are, they are crafty and vile. Toxic. They have high standards, and much self-respect, dignity, and pride. You will never find a Kries who is a stripper, but you might very well find a Kries owning the strip club. They are not overly powerful but they are greatly influential, and always looking for a new opportunity for profit. The Kries take care of their own, and are a medium sized group. The Kries are not a 'Oh! I want to join, can I?' sort. They approach those who they are interested in, and the best way to receive the interest of the Kries, is to have received a current member put in a good word for you. The Good Men FACTION TYPE: Vampire. RACES ALLOWED: Vampires, Mortals. COVEN / PACK BACKING: Aquito, Bueto. OTHER INFORMATION: Mostly only Men. PRO: 'Refined' Crime (Embezzlement, tax evasion, ect.) Large Corporate-y Business. Gentlmen's club sort of feel. This is. mostly, an all-men organization but, over the centuries there has been, believe it or not, a few women who have managed to impress enough of our masculine boys to earn a spot among the Good Men. A Good Man is, chances are, not what you think of. A bit like the Kries they are a more professional, clean group, but give or take there are a few differences. The Good Men make what the Kries do look soft. They are a large, large network but are entirely discrete. Embezzlement, weapons trade, technology trade� Trade. They center in the corporate business and more �refined� criminal activity. Money laundering and the rest, the stuff that only executives and CEOs could possibly dabble in. The Good Men are known to mock the Kries, with the Kries being seen as the only real interest for such organization directed to large scale corruption. Relationships between Kries and Good Men members isn�t rare, nor is it rare for� these relationships to get a bit steamy and� seductive. The Good Men are mainly male leeches with the occasional werewolf and it�s own fair lot of humans, and have been referred to, more so, as the �Cleaner Running Mafia�. They are one of the strongest groups to be a part of, with the males of the Bueto and Aquito Coven as their �backing�. They are only rivaled by the Six Blue, who they loath. Good Man Bossman: Contact Staff for Position. Second Command: --- The Chimera FACTION TYPE: Vampire. RACES ALLOWED: Vampires, Werewolves. COVEN / PACK BACKING: Unofficially, Moziniq. OTHER INFORMATION: Usually older vampires & lycans. 100+ PRO: Research and development. Government cooperation. Having lived for so long there is no doubt that the vampires are quite wise and clever. The Chimeras have existed for so long, there is no doubt that it is one of the oldest and more pronounced factions. It has had a 'section' of itself in Boston for a while now. Furthering its knowledge and research it is known as a more... scientific, psychological group then anything else. They are searching for reasons for the questions that all ask, but none bother to wonder dearly about. What makes a vampire immortal, how is a werewolf capable of change? They are finding reasons and causes for this all, and are becoming richer and richer by the minute because of it. Those of the Chimeras are wise and clever, and tend to be well on in their years. A vampire run organization they are backed by private investors, and have been known to be in cooperation with the government from time to time. Werewolves are far from banned from this faction, but few make it past the tests are prejudice to really go far. The Chimeras are, essentially, untouchable, and few meddle in their affairs. Many have asked for the faction's alliance, but very, very few have succeed. The faction enjoys it's neutrality, and, to be utterly blunt, very rarely gives a shit about any petty crime that the other groups are getting into. The Caki FACTION TYPE: Vampire. RACES ALLOWED: Vampires. COVEN / PACK BACKING: Impartial. OTHER INFORMATION: Basically the 'Night Police'. PRO: Vampyric Law. Order. The Caki are not a very beloved faction among vampires, a sheer fact. They are a very old, old group and stand for, if any one thing: Vampyric Law. Definitely are the surest way to find any vampire, werewolf or mortal that has been in contact with either, with documents on every soul. They are not abundant in number in Boston but who are among them are very much worthy of note, if only because of their individual strength and formability. Headquarters of the Caki is stationed in Europe, with the �7th Bloodline� here to manage all of our beloved night crawlers. They are, unofficially, the �night police�. They issue our orders and writs that all must practically follow (they are strong enough that few dare defy the reasonable rules and policies of the Caki) and serve the masses by keeping order and justice. The Caki are one of the number one reasons why vampires, especially, mind their dues and pay their respects. Why kills are not done in the open and why the mortal race hasn�t exposed the lycans and vamps for what they truly are. They do assassinations and other nasty business but all is �for the greater good�. They remain impartial, but have been known to bother the other factions when they become too� loose. The Caki are not entirely goodygoodies, even if that is what they are frequently called. They are known to be ruthless, relentless, and murderous as well� and contact with them is seen as an �ill-omen�. Death usually follows in their wake. The Caki make sure all of those who break the Law are accountable. And the 7th Bloodline makes sure of that in Boston. Commissioner: Contact Staff for Position. The Charlestown Mafia FACTION TYPE: Werewolf. RACES ALLOWED: Werewolves, Nortals. COVEN / PACK BACKING: Naikuy. OTHER INFORMATION: None. PRO: Common Justice. Profit. Family-oriented. A close, tight-knit group who likes to think they are more organized than they actually are, the Charlestown Mafia are based off of the same principles of the Italian Mafias that dominate all those great movies. The government no longer works, and judgment is not passed out quickly enough on those who �deserve� it. The Underground of Boston has its kings, and these mighty men are among the forerunners in drug dealing, gun trafficking, extortion, and protection. You knock the man, you pay the price. They have many men, and they make people pay very carefully, and with extreme accuracy. Their main members are Italian Werewolves going back to the Patiarca family and Irish Mortals of the O�Malley and Bulger variety. Rules that keep them together are those which enable a child to tumble along the streets and be unharmed, but which makes it difficult for a murderer to breath properly. They know more than anybody about their areas, and less than most about other places. Extremely territorial, aggressive and old-fashioned, the Charlestown Mafia are the real police in the North End and Chelsea, and they don�t let anybody forget it quickly, either. Normally, they lay low and keep their alliances clearly pro-Werewolf and anti-Vampire, and do anything for their side to stay afloat. Very family-oriented, the Italian side tends to be more loyal than the Irish, though both are equally egotistical and proud of their names and their cause. The Boss: Contact Staff for Position.
