Tau Redux (intro), Index page

Hi guys, this is the beginning of my revamp of the Tau codex. I have eleven parts to it, so have at it. There are a whole lot more units now, some from DOW, some from other Tau folks over the years, and some ideas from myself. The only thing here is going to be the links to the other pages, and the overview of the main army.

Special Rules:
Strategy Rating: 2
Sentries: The Tau use either 6 gun drones, or 8 kroot to use as sentries.
Experience: Tau gain experience normally. Drones do not gain experience, and are not included in a squad’s size for determining if it has gone under half strength or not.

I recently uploaded the entire Tau Redux onto my website. The site itself has nothing to do with Tau (though the story is really good, so go read it ).

You don't have to swallow it in one go, though things tend to make more sense once you've read the entire thing. I hope to these into a PDF one day, but alas, I do not have adobe professional. I just like seeing what people think of the ideas.

Did you write all of that before you joined this website? How long did it take you?

Oh man, how long did it take?

This project began I guess about 5 years ago when I grew dissatisfied about the Tau in certain areas. I began fooling around with VDR, but the idea to remake the codex took hold. Once fourth edition came out, I could see many more ways of making new Tau stuff, so I began the project anew. After Codex: Tau Empire came around, the project stalled, but picked up steam after I used ideas from that codex, and further expanded upon them.

The Apocalypse stuff is (obviously), very recent, so I haven't been able to test it. However, most of the stuff has been used many times in many ways, and it seems to be balanced well. It's also fun to play with completely random stuff.
