In the new 5th Ed...
Bonding Knifes are an absolute must... a single unit of FW can keep regrouping and contesting an objective. They have become quite usefula and resilient.

Disruption Pods are also extremely good now as well.
Count all shooting over 12" as obscured.... yes please Ill have some of that.

This could feasably make the Hammerhead one of the most resilient Tanks in the Game.

Any thoughts.

I agree with such statements, Tau skimmers just got a lot more deadly. However, I feel the Eldar will still have the advantage over us in that regard with rerolls on the damage table and the potential for the 'Crew Stunned' to be the norm with Eldar Skimmers.

However, the bonding knife does indeed make Tau Fire Warriors far more lethal and valuable. Good, cuase like the Drones, I've lots smile.gif.

Eldar tanks just became a lot squishier. They only get there save if they move more than 12", meaning they can't shoot us smile.gif Those rerolls hurt a little bit, but we have a 25% chance of killing one with a railgun penetration roll. I like those odds much better than the crap of 4th edition.

Cheers!

I agree, though they could still prove lethal as you say with the rerolls. however, now, Tau Skimmers are a bit more on-par with them. and we do indeed have a bigger gun smile.gif.
