Ive just registered on the aftermath site.
I would encourage all here to register as well, spread the name of the Cadre to the masses.

The Campaign should be starting up again soon. Lets try and make this the Cadres first foray into an online campaign.

This is the new background for Aftermath.... enjoy, and take a look at the site. Should begin shortly in the new year.

The war on Aftermath is over, the sound of battle has once more left the charred remains of the landscape and all that remains is to count the fallen. Though the forces of Chaos have been repelled once more the gate smashed to rubble it has come at a high price. Aftermath’s sole remaining Hive has been turned into a tomb of rubble for many, the river Quay choked by the dead. Power and communications are unstable, pirates control much of the space around Aftermath and the Orsis Space Dock has been knocked into an unstable orbit likely to see it crash into the planet. There have been no winners in this war. But still the heat of battle rises, the flames of lust and power begin to burn, the aftermath has not been contained.

After a lengthy cease fire the call to war came again on the planet of Aftermath, invoked by the woman known only as the Saint. Broadcast across every vox network, Imperial Guardsmen returned to their trenches and prepared for a fresh assault from the Forces of Disorder. But an attack never came; days passed and still nothing came from the wastelands of Aftermath.

The few remaining spy sats’ in orbit revealed the traitors’ positions vacant and devoid of life. Upon crossing the Plains of Despair the satellites showed something far more disturbing, the enemy was leaving, marching back through the gate with as many crystals as they could carry.

Even the mighty crystal that powered the gate was removed and shipped through the gate before it closed. The last frames transmitted from the satellite before it lost showed was of the traitor General Braxton himself leaving through the gate under escort. With their attention on the gate the Imperials did not notice the many small craft braking out of atmosphere and heading for open space. Aftermath had not been contained.

The Aftermath Sub-sector, situated close to T'au space in the Ultima Segmentum is about to witness the bloody expansion of the war that began on the beleaguered planet of Aftermath. Heroes will be born, worlds shall die and the carnage shall continue.
It's time to prepare. Gather the troops. Ready your weapons. Aftermath has not been contained.

Err what exactly was the first part of this about? It's the first I've heard about it.

Please note, I will not be informing the 12th/CSC (our new name) about this conflict. We're still rebuilding, and I doubt the runners of this aftermath campaign will appricaiate some of our members, namely gris.

Its run like the EoT.
This is the 2nd stage of it... having a interlude. Cash and money to beef up troops/give advantages by posting on the forums. Check the link in the first post, it should explain all... Its an old map though.
