within the next couple of weeks my 'kilo' hunter Cadre (the chaps i'm slowly painting up in Multicam camoflage) will go up against a veteran guard gamer using Airborne Imperial guard. in that, his army will include a lot of Valkyrie's and Valkyrie Vendetta gunships, with storm troopers, and ground infantry units backing them up.

with this limited information, suggestions for tactics gentlemen? i'm open to any suggestions be they Mech Tau or otherwise, and you may assume i have any or all tau troops available to field.

army will be 1500 points, standard mission over standard terrian (hills and trees).
