Kraken super heavy

Points: 650
When the Tau first encountered imperial ‘Super heavy’ vehicles such as Titans and Super heavy tanks, their response was to use current Tau vehicle chassis’s, suitably upgraded, to deal with the threat. The
Swordfish Gunship(with its Dual Rail guns on a Hammerhead Chassis) and the
Scorpionfish super-heavy missile gunship (a converted Orca dropship) are current deployed examples of such vehicles. But these were only ever conceived as stopgap measures. Vehicles that fulfilled a similar battlefield purpose before true, Tau super heavies, could enter the fray.
One of many Tau Super heavy grade vehicles to roll, freshly built off the production line is ‘the Kraken’. It is a massive anti-grav vehicle designed both to combat other races super heavies. It features heavy armour, shielding system and weapons, but can also to serve as a command vehicle, able to transport troops and co-ordinate Tau large scale actions.
So far, only 3 such vehicles have been deployed, all currently serving with the 'Falco' Coalition of the Fal'Shia Sept (the vehicles originally manufactures and designers hale from this particular Sept).

Command and Control Node: The Krakens advanced sensor systems aid nearby Fire Warrior units. Any Tau unit taking a leadership test for shooting that is within 12” of the Kraken may take the leadership test at leadership 10.
Command Kraken: for an additional 50 points the Kraken can be upgraded to a Command and Control Kraken. This variant has advanced communication systems for communicating with the Tau Ground forces as a whole and coordinating their actions with Air Caste Observation elements. The Kraken adds D6 + 1 Marker light hits that may be allocated anywere on the table (not necessarly in line of sight of the Kraken). This represents the Fleet intervention in the battle as they guide Tau forces via the Krakens comms system.
Energy shield: The Kraken is equipped with a powerful internal deflector shield to protect it from the most powerful attacks. The shield has intelligent engineering, increasing and decreasing its power in nano-seconds to compensate for the type of attack.
The kraken has an all round invulnerable save against attacks. The type of attack detates the type of save as follows.
Destroyer hit = 3+
Strength 8 or above = 4+
Strenght 7 or below = 5+
Close combat hits (any) = 4+
