D-Wave's AQUA (Adiabatic QUantum Algorithms) is a research project whose goal is to predict the performance of superconducting adiabatic quantum computers on a variety of hard problems arising in fields ranging from materials science to machine learning. AQUA@home uses Internet-connected computers to help design and analyze quantum computing algorithms, using Quantum Monte Carlo techniques. I have to say that this is probably the bast "bang per buck" cpu project for those wanting to boost their stats.
 Also note that it is a multithreaded app so don't panic when you only see one instance running on your quad  |

Think you might have a bit of a problem Sport.
My quad can turn out at least 15K in no more 17 hours, and usually a little better than that. (2.5GHz) |

We managed 9th for Boinc UK. My poor machine managed a whole wu in 6 days
