I must say, I am absolutely mortified by this information.

Because the other part was you trying to deny, but those two sentences are the obvious absolute truth and couldn't be taken back anymore, so it would've been futile and a waste of my valuable energy to copy even more of the convo.

'Twas a few weeks before Chris was gonna visit me... for the first time I think. He got a new 'girlfriend', and had to let me know of course *rolls eyes*.
