A final of favorites, but someone forgot to tell Brazil they weren't the favored favorite.
The opening goal was a shocker and it took a while for Argentina to recover. The own goal buried them, and the last goal put the nail in the coffin. Argentina made a game of it, but it just wasn't their night. -------------------- ![]() |

Messi wasnt productive he was shut down all game because they got physical ith him which other teams are scared to do, they stopped the flow with fouls in the mid they played excellent tight defense Doni did his job very well, i guess you can say he got his name back from the mexico game and uruguay, Julio Baptista or The Beast beautiful goal couldnt hit better, i gues that shocked them, then the tight defense good marking and pressure the back was getting when argentina was tryin to bring it upfield was to much and the Counter-Attack beautifully made by the brazilians and showed it with a Daniel Alves goal.

The key was shutting down Riquelme. The offense was so dependent on going through him to create chances that when he got clamped down there was no answer. Poor coaching when all that talent is available.

Right Gary. Riquelme is such a talent and Brazil (Dunga) knows that. He's always there just as an outlet or as they creative force. When Brazil shut that off, the other players, as talented as they are, just couldn't create for themselves.
You have to hand it to Brazil, they have the quality talented players but Dunga is learning what it takes to get them to win. Beware WC '10. -------------------- " ... but that's just raised the price of tacos. It's just wrong."____ Mr. G. Bell
