Just spent near 90 on some indoor field turf and my ankles/knees feel great ... right now! Can't say how I'll be feeling in 5-1/2 hours when I get up for work though. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to look like I was in a fight when I roll out of bed, an elbow and shoulder (one each) to the jaw will probably do that to you!

CSRN folks ... I hope alcohol is allowed in the studio, because as soon as the first shipment comes in from Ireland a case of TARTAN DEVILS PALE ALE will be making its way (somehow) to you hands out there in Cali!

Yup, yup! I'm on a pub squad with a legit sponsor and everything!

Scottish name, Irish sponsor, Welsh manager and an English captain.

Its been a nutty couple of months here in Pittsburgh and there's a lot to talk about!

Congratulations MJ... Good luck with the Devils - but be careful. Indoor is a young man's game... after rolling my ankle earlier this season, I have hung up my indoor shoes for good after my captain broke his neck in the playoffs. I am not kidding. He got slammed in the boards and went down - didn't get back up.

We're only indoor for the next few weeks. Once the weather is a little more tolerable we'll be moving outside to our Home field for practice ... the same field the University of Pittsburgh soccer team uses. smile.gif We'll have a nicer field than the Riverhounds. tongue.gif

And we've got a beer named after us!

Word from the owner of the pub ... kit and scarf orders will be able to be made through the website in a few days.

Personally, I keep wondering what Wayne (the short) guy is covering with his hands up so high!

Anyone up for a severed leprechaun head? My club is selling some St. Patrick's Day "themed" shirts.

In case anyone was wondering (cause I'm sure you all were), the Tartan Devils FC marketing machine is on overdrive. Someone at the pub recently mentioned that from a marketing/sales perspective we're actually the "premier" soccer franchise in Pittsburgh over the Riverhounds.

Now if we could just play a tenth of how well they do.

Tartan Devils FC "catalog"

At least click the link to check out the awesome "commie art" posters we're making for each match this season.
