The ESC prepares for their stadium entry. (Note: those are old-school Metros jerseys, not Milan jerseys.)

A parachutist delivers the game ball.

Section 101. Note the FSC set behind the Adidas signboard on the right.

Angel takes a penalty (which was saved :( ).

Corner right in front of me.

Corner on the other side at the same end.

Final score :D

Nice photos! Hardly anyone there, though?

I was stunned. Literally stunned by the opening of this match!

The side I was on (the side that shows up on TV, natch) was packed. The side behind the cameras, not so much.
Official attendance was 17,119.

I saw one guy in a Crew shirt. If there was anything organized, I didn't see it.

I don't think there was. First "organized" event is DC ... I mean, after the TFC invasion of Columbus the term organized away support takes on a whole new meaning in MLS.

Great way to start the season. We sit in 109 and that entire side of the pitch was packed. Could have been 3-0 or 4-1 quite easily if Angel had put away his chances.
The Columbus kit is on a par with the Chelsea third kit. Wish I'd brought my sunglasses.
Gonna miss the NE game in two weeks - Spring Break trip to Boston. Grrrrrrr...
