Title: Inter-Liverpool
Description: good for Roma?

Before the game, I was thinking that either result could be spun as good for Roma. An Inter win would mean more midweek games and less focus on the league, while a loss sends the crisi level to new heights.

didn't see the game as Leeds were getting smacked at home....what a SHIT footy night!
Inter will still win their league...no distractions now.

Twiggy,
What do you think of Mancio resigning? This was supposed to be their big year to prove they were contenders in Europe and the league.

When a manager sets an exact date for when he's going, the usual effect is to completely destabalise the club. It's a huge tactical mistake. The result is likely that Inter don't win the league and have a new manager in place before the end of the season.

It's a catch 22. Had they stayed in the CL, then they would have had more games to play and risked more injuries - that could have played in our favor, but remember - it would be the same for Roma.
I think Mancini said what he said in the heat of the moment. But you have to admit, it IS pretty destabilizing, especially when NO ONE (players/management) knew that he felt that way. I'd be sorry to see him leave - I think he's a great coach.

Looks like he's staying now.
