quiet??? right but than again true Arsenal fans are never quiet.
Twiggs you have not seen us down at the local, win or lose, we are the loudest fan group down there . The local have named us "The Tuffity Club" dont ask why.. most of us still have hair.
Gazza, how about getting some Arsenal fans to come on the show and talk about the season so far?? :D

Umm - that's why Highbury was known as "the library" in English footy?

Do we have any League One fans on the boards? Are the Leeds chaps the first ones next season?
dkrift - March 17, 2007 12:31 AM (GMT)
I see we do have League One fans. Maybe if I wait one more season, Twiggie and his boys can represent League Two for us.

Most arse fans will be wearing scum shirts again next season...Leeds fans will STILL be noisy and true - WHEREVER we are in the league..
Here's a question - WHO is going to pay for your new stadium, when you fail to qualify for the C.L. this season?
Banter aside...seriously - gambles like that ruined Leeds.
Food for thought, especially with the arsenal implosin going on at the moment - Miss out next year and you will follow us down, financially - when debts are called in.
Oh bugger - ignore that - I forgot Sky's new t.v. deal will bail you out, whatever happens

Twiggs, now, now , Arsenal will at least get the chance to play qualifying for the CL next season, and if you work out the math, there is a real chance of us coming in second.
remote but still possible.
I have had the same Arsenal shirt since our double season. I dont know it brings luck.
this season, well at least the beginging and last 10 days have not been good.
but look at the bright side, at least Arsenal were in all the cups up till now. that is far better than most of the other epl sides. NO!
The increase in $$$$ (sorry no pound key on my computer) from seat sales and a waiting list to see Arsenal will see us thru quite well.
One thing you have to admit about Arsenal, you will not find us guilty of buy "star" players at salaries high enough to fund a third world nation.
cheers :D

Oh yeah, you won't get any of that money to pay off your debts.
Like Bates would have given it to the club instead of his own pockets.

tisk, tisk...what a sad commentary it is on the board's arse fan that a chelsea fan must pick up the ball and ask questions for the network's arsenal show.
now...steering the thread back towards it's original topic.
1. was this season the beginning of the end of thierry henry? will he return to arsenal next year or will he make way next year (or the next) for the kids?
2. will getting thumped from all competitions in a 2 weeks span have any effect on wenger's head?
3. given that jeremy aliadiere is absolute rubbish, why is he still wearing an arsenal shirt?
4. theo walcott or aaron lennon? discuss.
5. since ashley cole won the carling cup...he's still playing for the fa cup...advanced beyond arsenal in the champion's league...and will likely finish higher than the gooners in the table, wouldn't you have to admit that chelsea got the better end of the cole-gallas swap?
there, that oughta pull the arse fans out of their holes.

Cheers,
Just back from the UK and a terrific visit of the Grove with Charlie George. What a hoot he is! Unfortunately, I got to witness history for the wrong reason as we totally dominated West Ham and lost on one silly mistake. As for Arsene being complacent, was Ferguson complacent in those couple of down years? I don't think so and neither is Arsene. By the way, did I miss the Arsenal Hour last week?
Go Gunners!
