which color?, car color

friends, I was thinking about getting a new Mitsubishi Eclipse. I pretty much know what features I want, but I am stuck on what color to get it in. I narrowed it down to two colors orange or black. blue looks alright, I just do not see my self driving in a blue car, or orange. but orange looks real sick though.
I know that this is a silly matter to be concerned about, but hey the forums were not to active......
I would like to apologies for not putting up a picture of each car in each color, but I do not know how to do that...

Chris has an eclipse too. He has 2nd gen, I have 3rd, and you can have 4th! it's like a family!!

anyway the only color I've seen people driving (4th gen) is the orange. Yeah it looks pretty cool. Chris's gay friend drove one lol. you'll get more looks in orange than in black, I think. I guess it mostly just depends on whether or not you want people to really notice you, or be more like... the black horse type of person.

Chris is more like the black horse- he had a like... green eclipse with a yellow door but he had a really good engine and whatever shit racing losers have

I personally don't like any of the 2000 models and above. Mitsubishi in my opinion messed up with the exception of the newest GT version which is somewhat STARTING to grow on me. All though without a 4G63 in it from ralliart, you'll never catch me in one.

My eclipse started out from very rock bottom, literally about to be crushed. Thats a whole-nother story that I'm not going to post up here in this thread though. I'll leave a link to the video.

Are you going for the GT version? Cause thats an awful lot if your just looking for the 265HP [mines pushing 293WHP on 15PSI on a 4cyl engine, untuned I might add]. Your looking at over 26k to pocket out. (assuming your not financing the car.. which in that case you'd be paying more!). Unless you want something new with luxury, then thats different.

Anyway, assuming you have your mind dead set on this eclipse, I would either go with the new factory yellow that comes with the sport GT, or black.

Eclipses are known to be more of the 'girly' cars, but it all depends on taste. Personally I'd get the 95-96 Eclipses or an S2000 only because I don't like the way they changed the body on the Eclipse model.

I'm a big fan of lunar eclipses myself

How weird... I've almost had two gay friends, but they kinda drifted away from me pretty quick, even though with one of them I had absolutely no idea. He even propsitioned my roommate early in the school year last year and I didn't know he was gay until this year o_O;

and ya, 3rd gen (mine) is the most GIRLY!

if i were to get an eclipse it would have to be a GT, but thats way to expensive. and it gets worse gas mileage than my rover. so i decided not to get it for thos two reasons.

i appreciate your impute, it helped me a lot on my decision, but i decided not to get the Eclipse. i went with the prius, a complete 180 huh...,

i guess i wont be a part of the eclipse family.. hahaha..

i still do not understand why its considered girly. could anyone clear that up?

It's really just based on your perspective. To me the 2000 models are because they're mainly seen driven by a girls or I don't really know how to put it, just the way I look at it I guess.
