The Field Museum
The Field Museum has just about everything the Shedd doesn't. From dinosaur bones, including Sue, the T-rex, to a mammal exhibit, you can find a lot to learn about animal life. But not only that, but they also offer many historical cultural activities too! Right now, the main special attraction is Egypt and the mummy of King Tut. Enjoy!

Shedd Aquarium
Its not Sea World, but it still offers a great assortment of aquatic life and a great Dolphin show. With its enormous aquarium in the center of the museum, you can see what its like under water without ever getting wet.

Planetarium
This planetarium is the one and only of Chicago's celestial attractions. From the universe displayed on the IMAX theater screen in 4-D to the way space shuttles and satellites work you can travel through space and galaxies to see what it was like for the many Apollo's that had traveled.
