Title: Sector One plotting?
Description: moved from "Basics & OOC"

Sooo... I went ahead and got the board's Sector One
all up in Lexxy’s backstory
and was wondering if there was anyone who wanted to tie their characters into this thing too?
Lex was a ‘guest’ at the Langley facility for five years back when the place was going through it’s scary Guantanamo Bay phase, interrogating non-humans deemed a threat and doing all sorts of wacky tests. In Lex’s story a psychic human held at Langley helped a handful of the monsters there co-ordinate an escape plan and break free on a full moon night - they wrecked the place, which could have possibly led to Winston Flemming’s death and the overhaul when Harold Grey took over.
Any supernaturals who encountered Sector One before Grey’s reformation would have been forcibly tagged with those nifty explosive tracking chip things. Lex only figured out she had one in her neck after she hacked into their records a few years after her escape. Others might have figured it out too, might not realise they have them or just don’t know how to get them out safely. Lex is advertising herself as a PI online (not as a supernatural, mind) and would certainly be available for hire to anyone needing help with that. She's also a nosy cow and could plausibly track down any Langley alumni that ping on her radar and seem useful (the werewolf's got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one).
As well as fellow monsters there’s also the people who were/are working for Sector One - the old-school agents and scientists who locked up people like Lex without trial looking for revenge or redemption. Then there's newer recruits or Supernaturals working there by choice now who are just starting to get an idea of the department’s dark history - Lex would be more than happy to fill them in on that front.

Well, considering no one else wanted to talk, and I do have ideas for this place, I figured I would talk to you about it first, and make sure you were totes cool with what I have in mind for this character whom I'm writing. xD
First, he's not the one who was kept at Langley- it was his parental, and the parental was also a werewolf, so, like, IDK if you care about that, but now you know it. Anyway, the parental (dad) probably took part in this revolution thing that was headed by the Human Psychic, and he probably died because he was a pretty old dude, by human standard- and also because I can kill off a parent if I want to, no one can stop me. /maniacal laughter... Anyway. The kid's mom has also gone missing so.
For Lex, who is acting as a PI, the kid would probably, ofc, want to know if she could tell him anything about where they've gone (whether she does or not is up to you, obvs). I have no idea why he asked her and not some other PI- luck, I guess. Anyway, the point is, they could probably have plots of excellency and troll around the board, having CSI-esque montages of information finding if they wanted to. She could accept him as a tiny protege - not that tiny, as he's pretty tall, but you know what I mean.
And also, why is this in Sector 1 and not a Lex plot page? DGAF.
(There is someone else I have who's coming in who is somewhat morally ambiguous and a little too dark, but she is more likely to have worked for the bad side of the operation, if ever, so I guess if Lex ever needs a new antagonist, she'll be around.)
Alexandra Knight - May 15, 2012 10:51 AM (GMT)
I wanted to keep this Sector 1 centric rather than being all about Lex specifically as she's got her own separate probs with her ex and her werewolf-biker friends that's best kept out of this. I'm reserving the right for my next character, 'Malice' to get involved with Sector 1 too if we get any scientists or characters on the Sector 1 staff (like this evil person you might make...)
Anyways, yes, double-thunbs-up for plots of excellency and trolling around with CSI-esque montages - as long as no one wears sunglasses at night (Horatio Caine is an epic asshole)!
I was actually thinking of putting an ad in classifieds for an assistant capable of putting up with Lex, so clearly great minds think alike (and fools seldom differ). She's a proper old-school Alpha but she's also a walking train-wreck, it might be quite sweet to have a puppy around who's got no experience with packs or the Alpha-Omega caste system.
Maybe back in the day, after the Sector 1 breakout Lex had to follow-up on a promise and tracked down the puppy-momma to let her know the dad wasn't coming home, give her a keepsake like a ring back or something and your character vaguely remembers her name when he sees an ad/website whatever?

--Totally butts into the conversation--
Charlie would be great for this - the Sector one thing. They've been there a long time (I haven't written it in yet, but they were both employees that volunteered for tests which went a little wrong somewhere when they were ... joined, meaning they lost their memories) and despite starting out as volunteers, they've had enough of cooperating with their handlers and want out.
Now, if there's any chance of someone on the site getting them out of one of the branches (I really don't care where - they have no memory, so it doesn't matter), then that would be awesome. Otherwise, they're newly-escaped and on the run!
Now go play with that information and make plots! ... please ?
Theodore Sawyer - May 15, 2012 04:55 PM (GMT)
Yes, I realised, but as Lex is the only person currently to hang out in Sector One, she'll be centric for a while. xD Anyway.
First, goddamnit. I'll have to change his history a bit -- I had him down as a night-time-sunglasses-wearer. xD But alas, anything to make sure we don't look as terrible as Horatio's. As a note, he's not a werewolf, because
I didn't want a werewolf he's only half-werewolf and nothing really happened. He does have his own tricks though and he might be willing to follow her around, regardless. xD
As for the follow-up to a promise idea, that's excellent! I can definitely imagine it happening, and she could clearly recognise his last na,e. When you said 'ad', I suddenly imagined a craigslist ad for a PI, because I'm whimsical, but I swear that won't happen. xD
Maybe Lex and Levi can team up? Like a defunct superhero team. :P
Lorn Michaels - May 15, 2012 05:38 PM (GMT)
Hahahaha! Yesss, defunct Superhero team for the win! If Lex is up for it, of course :P Maybe they hear of a new experiment going on in the Sector that's going to be used as a weapon? (They're being trained as spies and will know much of the usual butt-kicking techniques, of course. I sooooo need to finish that profile D: )
Theodore Sawyer - May 15, 2012 09:12 PM (GMT)
I'm certain we can make this happen somehow! As for finishing profiles... Yeah, I should really finish Levi's so this can all happen. How they hear of Charlie may take some work but with Lex's hacking skills and Levi's ~*~magic~*~, I can't see it being too difficult.
Alexandra Knight - May 15, 2012 09:56 PM (GMT)
Hacking + Magic? Yeeeeessssss! *high fives all round* I don't care what species Levi is - They can be like the heroes in Super - "Shut up, crime!" (Lex & Levi will have to go bug the shit out of Shane at a crime scene or something!) ...Y'know I can actually picture Lex putting an add on Craigslist, she's classy like that.
And yuss, Charlieeeeee (which in my head it will always sound like the Charlie the Unicorn
videos)! If there's anything supernatural about Levi's missing mother then Sector 1 would be top of Lex's suspects list (five years on lock down will have left her disinclined to believe they're only using volunteers now). They might come across Charlie's records that way and Lex would just love to have an ass-kicking changeling owe her a favor in case her brother shows up in Chicago.
Theodore Sawyer - May 15, 2012 10:35 PM (GMT)
He's a warlock. ^^; (I couldn't tell you all this before because he was a sort of indistinct figure in the back of my head, and I've only recently worked him out). I've never seen/heard of/read 'Super', but for sure, they will kick ass together because they're classy like that.
+ In that case, they're totally going to meet via Craigslist, for the hell of it.
There is something supernatural - she's a witch - and that would be his first guess. So they can cheerfully run across Charlie's files and sweet, sweet plotting can happen.
edit; +that awkward moment levi looks like he's stalking charlie.
edit 2; +i mean, seriously, levi, stop that.
Alexandra Knight - May 15, 2012 11:09 PM (GMT)
Hah! Quality (so glad Lex isn't the only one with stalkerish tendencies)! Go finish the boy and Lex can conjure up memories of the parentals as per his background. If he was old enough to see Lex stop by at his mother's it would have been just after the breakout when she was a bit younger, skinnier, paler, beaten up and generally giving off a trauma-chic vibe.
Theodore Sawyer - May 15, 2012 11:12 PM (GMT)
I'm on it! ^^ Will finish his prof tonight and post it. XD
Also, yeah, he's not a stalker, I swear to God he's not.
Alexandra Knight - May 15, 2012 11:17 PM (GMT)
Gah! You're far too efficient (I'm STILL trying to get out an app that only needed altering rather than writing from scratch!). Srsly, no rush luvvie!
Gamble Reines - May 15, 2012 11:38 PM (GMT)
1) Lex isn't the only Sector One capturee or employee. You'll have to figure out who else is. :P Cause I'm not telling.
2) Why would Lex and Levi have to bug Shane?
Ash Roberts - May 15, 2012 11:53 PM (GMT)
1) Can't answer because ... no idea.
2) For hilarity and lolz.
Alexandra Knight - May 16, 2012 12:16 AM (GMT)
1. There are more capturees & employees already? C'mon, spill for the plottings!!!
2. Shane is a Homicide detective. Lex & soon-to-be-assistant are Private Investigators. All it would take is one gnarly case to have their paths crossing! (and also for the lolz)
Levi Steel - May 16, 2012 12:22 AM (GMT)
1. Aww, trufax, bro. They can run into them in their investigashunz.
2. 'Gnarly' made me think we'd made a surfer character to hang out with them ... but alas, yes, they will probably cross paths and it'll be awkward for all of a hot second. They can team up though, to crime-fight by night, and ... do whatever they do by day.
Gamble Reines - May 16, 2012 01:05 AM (GMT)
No, only one that I know of and I'm not telling. You'll just have to figure it out. Lol
And I'm game for a thread with lex and levi. We just have rp come up with a good thread plot.
Ash Roberts - May 16, 2012 03:30 AM (GMT)
Rude of you, good sir. We shall have to investigate every character accordingly.
And also yeah. Just wait for Lex and Levi to actually meet to become a Team of Kickassery, and then they can bump into one another. ^^
Alexandra Knight - July 1, 2012 08:39 PM (GMT)
Righty - I was thinking of writing a flashback scene of Lex and Levi's daddy in his dying moments where he gives her his wife's wedding ring or something and expects Lexxy to pass on for him - depending on your preference she could either have found witch-lady and Levi then randomly sees her on craigslist, or she's still got it, which may magically draw him in if he's tried using a location spell or something (I don't know)
(Then they should meet Evelyn, piss off Shane at a crime scene, free Charlie from Sector One and all that kick-assery!)
Theodore Sawyer - July 1, 2012 08:52 PM (GMT)
Sorry- why didn't I see this? Life and things.
Anyway, either works. The second will have more emotional impact (maybe she never managed to track down his mother, and seeing a fourteen-year-old boy, she was like, 'Yeah, I can't give it to him'), although the first brings us straight to the point of finding his mother -whom, I'm sure, everyone knows the general fate of (read: yeah, she dead -shrug). He can use a location spell; maybe he gets worried and tries tracking his father and then, wtf, it's pointing to an apartment in Chicago - that's never happened before (because now she's static- he was in New York for two weeks, giving her time to settle in), and he puts his investigation hat on.
And then all those really kick-ass things can happen, sometimes interspersed with hi-fives, alcohol and general awesome. Trufax. Let's make this happen.
