Title: Exist A Sprite Finder?

sammy95 - February 7, 2011 12:54 PM (GMT)
you say if exist a program that it find the sprites from eve.mlts?

CheatCat - February 7, 2011 02:56 PM (GMT)
CTRL + F in notepad?

sammy95 - February 7, 2011 03:53 PM (GMT)
OOPSS. I want say if exist a program that it take all codes in eve.mlts and it transform them in IMAGES. xD

DrEaMkIlER - February 7, 2011 04:01 PM (GMT)
I think every sprite/image has an own name/or an id in the code, and when one of that codes is used, it will use the sprite of that code in the game.

In Rayman I think that are Ids for the sprites.
I hope it helped you!^^
:)

rayhacker46 - February 7, 2011 05:48 PM (GMT)
The eve.mlt aren't sprites. They're codes for the events that uses the sprites from the *.dll. The only solution should be opening a *.dll file to check if it contains the sprites and then convert them, but it probarly will be impossible. :(

DrEaMkIlER - February 7, 2011 06:02 PM (GMT)
I didn't ment them! :D

from the .dll?! :ph43r:
I think you are a bit wrong, the sprites are probably in the .wld files B)

DrEaMkIlER - February 7, 2011 07:38 PM (GMT)
I think he mean the code Info and the Id of the sprite and not the sprite itself.

Excuse me, I've meant the *.wld files indeed. There also could be a chance that they're into the *.cmd files, but it's not a big chance.

no I know they are not in the cmd files. the cmd files only gives to the game the information of every single code placed in the map form the eve.mlt (always and not always events)

Thaaanks Raymanni!! You are the best of z15.invisionfree
but the link of palettes isn't avaiable now. do you have a new link please??THX :)

MGKeyes - February 8, 2011 09:57 PM (GMT)
The WLD files contain a plain-text list of all ETAs and DESs, but that doesn't mean that the sprites are actually in them. The lists might just be to tell the game what's available. If you ask me, the actual files are probably resources in DLL files or the EXE itself.

I doubt dll contains any music or image resource. Maybe the .exe

By translating *.exe files you can find some hidden images. It's not really simple, but it might be.

Another solution could be that the *.exe file exports some withdrawn files into a hidden map, and that Jaxx accidentally spotted them. ;)
