From: Ssgt. Theodore Goodwin (Chief of Security) To: All Administrative and Security officials
It has been brought to my attention that several of the subjects of Project Atlas appear to have developed worrying psychological imbalances, particularly in response to re-education software and advanced indoctrination. Last Wednesday, subjects B45, U76 and D23 attacked security officers during a routine exercise break. Three guards suffered fractured ribs, and one Guard was unfortunately killed. The subjects were restrained, though U76 was irredeemable, and had to be terminated for the safety of all staff in the facility. There have been behavioural anomalies in other models, too; Y74 and H42 have been noted to act erratically and unreliably when re-educated and have shown an unusual tendency to refuse to interact with the more efficient and co-operative models. This is a minor concern, however, as both subjects show no hostility to staff, and co-operate fine, if sporadically, in field tests and psychological studies. These subjects are therefore to be kept under minor observation. I must re-stress the severity of the penalties for not complying with our security regulations. These new Technosavants are not ordinary workers or prisoners, and it is in the interests of all staff that such strict security be put in place. Any complaints or observations must be reported to the nearest security official, and will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. Remember, vigilance is the key.
