The fae are large in number, varying from the classical faery, to the merpeople of the deep.
History
The most popular story of the fae is that they were cast out of heaven for being wicked, but were not allowed into hell for being too good. As a result, they were left to wander the earth, developing into the varying species we know today.
Weaknesses
Iron is to the fae as silver is to the shifter, although bells are said to have the same effect. Rowan wood is also said to effect fae.
Types
Faeries
Small, humanoid creatures, generally depicted with wings. This is, however, a personal choice as many can fly with or without wings. They have some degree of magic and rarely reach over a height of six inches.
Elves
Generally regarded as the most noble of the fae, Elves are the most humanoid in appearence. They have stronger, faster reflexes than humans and are considered the most attractive of the magical races.
Very few are skilled in magic.
Merpeople Romanticaly said to be the fae who fell in love with the water, merpeople often have the ability to remain on dry land for up to 3 days.
Many other fae sub-classes exist, please classify when you apply.
