No longer do they fear humans, or their threats of witch hunting. The magi (collective name of both witches and wizards) now infiltrate every part of human life, right under their noses. It was the choice of the magi to cut off the magical world from the human. Magic is normally split into the catagories of attack and defence, although other branches have emerged. It is very rare to find a witch or a wizard skilled in more than one area of magic. This also applies to potion and charm making. It is almost impossible to have power in both potions and attack (among other combinations), although charm making and defence is a likely occurance. History Ever since there have been humans, there have been magi. The people who were feared, respected, powerful and wise. Magic is generally passed down the genetic line, from mother to daughter, or father to son. It is usually stronger in female lines, but male lines are rarely lacking in power. It must be noted that spontanious power is also possible; in a purely human line, magic may be found. This kind of magic is usually stronger in the defensive areas, while hereditary magic is stronger in attack. Weaknesses Magi have very few weaknesses. Although they can be stopped by human means, the only known way to fully stop a magi is by poisoning.
