General Appearence:
Tall and thin, Lex is one of the last people anybody would expect anything of. He doesn't fit into any kind of catagory, not 'depressed' enough to be emo, dark enough to be goth, or light enough to be preppy...as if he hs seen all of the social stigmatisms and stoicly chosen to ignore them. In reality, Lex is mostly unaware that these archetypes exist. Which is possibly why he fits the agenda of the Underworld so well.

Alexander has dark brown, curly hair, in a style that frames the entirity of his face and neck. His face is thin, but slightly rounded, boasting pale, yet strangly 'cute' features. To put it in as few words as possible, his features could be defined as distinctly feminine. From the thin lips, to his petite nose, he could look almost elfin (perhaps an irony only befitting a higher power). Even the light green of his eyes, light enough to look clear in direct light, adds to the image.

Personality:

Alexander doesn't really understand the way the world works, but trusts few people. True, Alexander is naive, but he truely believes there is good in people, despite his own feelings about them. A contradictory proposition, perhaps, but Lex has yet to find a situation where the logic has failed him.

Lex is quiet and thoughtful, not given to speaking often. Those who manage to draw him into conversation are often surprised by his eloquence, after seeing him communicate only with nods or monosyllabic responses.

Despite everything, he is a freindly soul, unwilling to see other people unhappy. He has a great love of children and will play for hours on end, unless stopped by something or another. In many ways, he is much like a child himself, still given over to sullen sulks and tantrums, although on a much smaller scale.

Perhaps another note is Lex's complete distain for violence. Unless there is no other method, he prefers to talk, or plan his way out of problems. Perhaps comming from this is the idea that he dislikes the full moon; one of the times he has no control over what he will do, which again leads to the disuse of a wolven form at any other time, without need.

History:
Although he was born in Rome, Lex is not Italian. Rather, his parents fell in love with the city on a visit. Each had gone separately, for totally different reasons, but each had stayed for the other. It sounds romantic, the kind of premise a cheesy romantic comedy is based on. Elise and Harvey had another reason to stay. Young quirky Elise, the German student, was a werewolf. And she was pregnant. Harvey, raised in a traditionalist family, conceeded to stay with her. Not only for his new child, but because he did indeed love her.

The baby was born on the 13th of July, a healthy, bouncing baby boy, who they named Alexander, after Elise's grandfather. It was clear that the boy was a lycan, even if transformations were not natural to him. Still, Alexander grew and grew, into a quiet, thoughtful toddler then to an equally quiet, mischievious child. It was when Alexander's life took a large turn. The building firm that Harvey worked for moved him to a larger, better paying job in England. Harvey accepted immidiately and set about moving his small family to England. Thanks to Elise's irremovable fear of flying, Harvey's distrust of magical transport and Alexander's fear of underground spaces, they opted to travel by boat. This was perhaps their biggest mistake.

After convincing Alexander that being in the cabin would not, in fact, cause the world to collapse in on him, the journey got off to a flying start. Everything was going well, until the ship was raided by illeagal bounty hunters. Harvey and Elise hid Alexander in one of the bunks, but it wasn't enough. Holding much of the ship to randsome, they searched and turned up very little of interest. They had almost missed the room, but the scent of Elise found the searchers, which led them to Alexander, peacefully sleeping in the midst of the world's problems.

They took no time in taking Alexander with them, leaving Elise and Harvey heartbroken. Elise, however, could not take the strain and chased after one, only to be pushed overboard, never to be found. Harvey moved on to England, alone, but desperate to find Alexander again.

Alexander was taken to one of the underground market places, sullen and alone. The young Lycan spent several years, being passed through the system; owner to owner, market to market. The turning point came when Alexander had turned 12. He was on the very edge of being bought by a small, old witch (to the point that she had handed over the money and had left to find transport) when another were, this one a werecat helped him escape. To this day, he is unsure how the girl managed to acheive it, but he didn't have chance to stop and ask her. The only thing he could do was run, which he did, finding himself in the middle of Liverpool.

From there, it wasn't long before the underground found him. Many would see this as a bad thing, but they put a roof over his head, gave him aa job, even finished part of his education, in return for his help. How could that be a bad thing?
