Out of Character (OOC) Rules
1. While we do not expect for you to get along with everyone, please try to at least be civil. If you are having a problem with another member, please do not post this openly on the boards. Instead, please PM an Admin and we'll see what we can do.
2. Derogatory comments will absolutely positively not be tolerated in OOC. What you do in IC with your character is your business, but while in OOC you are to respect everyone REGARDLESS of their gender, race, religion, sexuality, and so on. If you so choose to openly disrespect someone else and personally attack them, your account will be deleted without warning and your IP address will be banned.
3. If you wish to post OOC excessively, please do so in the correct areas. Whether it be in the C-Box or in the boards that are not meant for solely role playing.
4. Any new characters must be submitted under their name. In other words, a new account must be created for each character you make. There is a maximum of three characters per roleplayer.
In Character (IC) Rules
1. If your application is still pending, please do not post IC until it has been approved and moved to the corresponding section of your character's affiliation. However, you are free to post OOC at your leisure.
2. Like posting in OOC, please keep IC in their proper places as well.
3. Godmoding is frowned upon at The Other side. No matter how powerful or limber your character may be, it simply is not fair for you to instantly defeat your opponent, dodge every attack, or force another character to do what you wish. Keep everyone else you are posting with in mind when you make an action and allow them to interpret it how they wish. Or at least PM them and see if you can work something out.
4. Literacy is to be stressed here while in character, as well as out of character. Please do not prove the admins of having made a mistake, if you completely butcher your posts after a wonderful application. While spelling and grammar errors are completely all right and a completely human thing to do, if no one can read your replies then we'll have some problems.
5. We like when people join!! We really do!. But please try to write a good post when joining up. 2-3 sentences will not cut it in this RP. There are always things to write about, so show us your creativity and make magic with your character! To that note, we expect 200 word posts, in normal roleplay.
6. There is however just one little thing that you must keep in mind when creating characters. the limit has been decided at three for now, but please do not over burden yourself. If you cannot cope with more than one character, thats fine! But at least 20 IC posts must be made in the story to kind of prove to us that you are serious about playing.
7. Want to have your character in more than one thread at once? Fine. So long as they do exist at different times, we have no qualms with multi-threading at all. Up to a point; one character can be in a maximum of three threads at one time.
Please, please, please don't hesitate to come to one of the admins if you have a question. We're here to help you, and we'll do all we can to make sure any question you have is answered, and any problem you have is resolved.
