THE GOOD. meet hannibal hughes, a vampire with a double life. to almost everyone he is just an ordinary other trying to live a normal life among humans with his two roommates. when you first meet hannibal you will get an odd feeling of him. he is difficult to read emotionally at first and holds a sort of air of professionalism and power around him. he doesn't like to let strangers see much of himself and thus can be called perhaps a bit rough or icy. this however is quick to change once you get to know him and see the slightly lazy, constantly baked, blunt, pervert he tends to be. when around friends he will goof off and be a little silly, relaxing contently. he has a bit of a mouth on him, tending to be snarky or sarcastic when it pleases him. this goes right in hand with his tendency to be straight forward about what is on his mind. overall he seems to be a pretty enjoyable guy to be around.

the bad. it is this side of hannibal that rarely anyone sees. behind the smiles is a man with a deep hatred for hunters and for humanity in general. constantly in his history hunters have ruined his happiness and now he's completely sick of it. he wants revenge. the entire reason he is living in oyama is to destroy the academy and the hunters. he keeps this under tight wraps (even his roommates don't know) and primarily works underground with other others who share his sentiments. this side of hannibal is blood and war crazed, willing to rip apart anyone who gets in his way.

the friends. it might be a bit difficult at first to befriend hannibal given how distant he is to strangers but once you do he is a... decent friend. he tends to be a little selfish and unwilling to help people if it doesn't help him. so he isn't the sort of friend you would want to rely on (the only person who can truly rely on him is Arthur). he is perfect for just hanging out, smoking a few blunts, and joking around. no strings attached on either side of the relationship. he won't come bothering you wish his issues or asking for help, he's too independent for that.

the enemies. technically any human and any hunter is his enemy but he kind of keeps that a secret so it... doesn't really count? in general hannibal makes enemies a lot easier than he does friends. being as blunt as he is and unwilling to put up with others' bullshit, he pisses people off a lot. and he doesn't care to ever apologize so that makes it worse. when he is confronted by an enemy he tends to just laugh at them, insulting them with snickers but not really trying to lash out at them. he puts on an air that he is better than they and they aren't even worth his time. this isn't always the wisest but again, he doesn't care. and if anything leads to a fight he is pretty damn good with his fists so watch out.

the lovers. hannibal is totally a molester, especially when he is high. he just can't keep his hands off of pretty boys and girls (mostly boys though it seems). since the death of gio he hasn't been interested in committed relationships, believing his heart died along with gio. so he likes to just have numerous emotionless flings with people. he isn't all too picky on who he sleeps with, tending to stick to strangers. however when it comes to his affectionate molesting he prefers to know the person and be friends with them. so yeah watch out if you are his friend, he'll probably have his hands all over you.

More than possibility
Akane might be his nemesis only because she wants perfection. She would find his molesting as imperfect as well as many other aspects of him. However, she might see him as an ally if they were to team up to go up against hunters. She is really independent though and usually doesn't like to get help from anyone. While she might see him as an ally for perhaps something they might do together, she would easily drop that title and try to kill him do to his imperfections or if she felt that he had become unnecessary to her goal.

Casual friends
I could see Amaya being a casual friend of Hanni. She wouldn't get involved in his issues as he wouldn't get involved in hers. While she is a happy playful person, just hanging out would appeal to her. Perhaps they could meet when she's out on a weekend and enjoying a smoke or something to that sort.

Snappish Enemy
Chase rather likes Others and doesn't mind vampires, but if Hanni were to get touchy-feely, there would be no holding back for Chase. He'd bite, kick and pretty much yowl. If Hannibal lays off, however, Chase would probably make for a pretty tolerant friend...? I dunno. Maybe Hannibal would get a kick outta tormenting him. ewe

hannibal would find akane annoying as hell if she jumped between being an enemy and an ally. he is pretty set in his ways so if she has any issue with the way he is, forget her. he knows he is imperfect and he absolutely loves it. almost as much as he does molesting. as for teaming up he isn't looking to take action against the academy any time soon so if she were pushing to attakc hunters or the school anytime soon he'd refuse. he doesn't want to take any action until he absolutely knows for sure he'll win. so he is taking his time and building up his resources for one grand fight. anything she does before then will piss him the hell off because it'll put the academy on guard and he doesn't need that. he's trying to stay hidden from their radar and he doesn't need some chick running around making it difficult for him. so if anything he is just going to find her a nuisance and harass her when he can to piss her the fuck off.


HANNIBAL|AMAYA

yeah i can definitely see these two being friends. hannibal would appreciate that she isn't getting all up in his business and want to spend time with more people like that. inwardly, of course, he is going to hate her with every fiber of his being since she's working at the academy but whatever, he's like that with almost every single person he meets. on the outside it's all good though, she can have a baked vampire as a buddy. ;o;


HANNIBAL|CHASE

oh yeah hannibal would get a kick out of tormenting him. but i don't see him doing it on a frequent basis, he'll want to keep chase coming around so he can pry information out of him about the school and what is going on currently. he won't ask outright but more slyly try to get it out of him. then get bored and harass him lovingly. u__u i already feel bad for chase but eh, hannibal can share his weed with him to calm the boy down. lol.

More than possibility
Okay, with what we talked about last night (or maybe really early this morning) and your above post, it would seem that Hannibal would probably kick her ass if she really tried to do something that pissed him off. Maybe she's plotting a huge attack on the academy, Hanni finds out, finds her, and beats the shit out of her. That could be the way in which she then looses her memory with a near death experience, yes? A fresh start would be perfect for her and would definitely change her.

Yeah if he gets wind of someone trying to launch an attack against the school he'll go after them to try and stop them. He doesn't want any of his plans ruined, especially by some angel-twerp. So he'll approach her and order her to back off. If she doesn't he'll definitely kick her ass so you can can start fresh with her.

Which speaking of starting fresh with her, I would be happy to offer Hanna Oota (once I finish her) to give the memory-less Akane a helping hand. She is a deity herself so she'll respect the fact Akane is an angel.

So, I was thinking Rem-rem'd ask Hanni out to the festival, and I was wondering if Hanni would accept a "Date" from his snake-like frenemy. Remy would probably ask him really, really quickly like, "Wanttogooutwithmetothefestival?" then get all grouchy and pissed off with himself for even asking and be like, "You know what? Whatever! Fuck it! I don't care!" then walk some ways away before roaring over his shoulder, "EIGHT THIRTY!!!" then flipping a fence and running through peoples yards just to put as many walls as well as a lotta distance between himself and Hannibal.

Hannibal would find it hilarious and adorable if Rem did that. And high or not, I think he'd accept. He's kind of desiring some companionship right now that isn't one sided with the other constantly calling him a molester or pedo the entire time. So yes, of course we must do this. ;o;
