  • GameDev.net -- Tons of information. Active forums. Plus a daily updated list of job openings in the game industry.
  • Game Biz Advise -- Over 50 articles all about getting started in the video game industry.
  • International Game Developers Association -- A non-profit professional membership organization that advocates globally on issues related to digital game creation.
  • GameJobs.com -- Post your resume, view job openings.
  • Salary.com -- Compare how game jobs (or any jobs) compare to other careers' salaries.
  • IGN Gaming Green -- An October 2005 article on game industry salaries.
