So Lark was gone doing something, and Riddick was bored just hanging out at the place she was in. so he did the only thing he could think of. He shifted into his human form, and checked to see where she went and when she would be back. Then he snuck out to the laundry room, and stole some clothes that looked like they would fit. He would hide them some where in the apartment later. Hold onto them for future outings. The jeans were a bit big, but other wise fit alright. The shirt was a simple white in color, and then he had found some sandals he could wear. A little smile, but with them open it didn't matter as much.

Shoving his hands into his pockets, Riddick was soon heading out, and following his nose. There was a local college about he had seen in his travels before Lark had found him, and the scents there had been promising. Now it was just a matter of finding that area again as a human. His slightly long brown hair fell forward into his face at times, and he'd run a hand through his hair to push it back when it happened. His shoulders were slightly hunched as if he were sure someone was going to hit him, or he was about ready to run. Most people just ignored him, and the occasional gave him an odd look but didn't follow him. After a time, Riddick started to walk up right, and appeared more curious about his surroundings.

At around noon Riddick came upon a coffee shop. The smells were taunting his nose, and his stomach growled. He was hungry, and he's never had coffee before. Everything about the coffee store was appetizing, and here he was with no money. So instead he sat on a bench that was across the street, and just stared with want at the store. He wasn't even aware of the looks he was getting from passing girls that went to the local college. Giggling a bit, and checking him out. He was completely focused on the source of the most delicious scents in the world.

OR A MAN WHO MAKES POTIONS IN A TRAVELLING SHOW
Matteus was going to kill his father, no he wasn't going to kill him he was going to call one of his hunter contacts and tell them he'd poisoned the whole town to be a bunch of zealous Christians. Maybe that'd work, or maybe not, either way he wasn't happy right now with where he had to have driven to and where he was right now. His dad was making him take a huge detour on his way to Main to go to some college in South Dakota don't cha know, just to visit a college run by a heavy Christian sensitive friend of his dads. The college wasn't Christian, but the Dean was, and of course his dad knew him so of course he had to go there and check out the college and talk about applying there and all the good stuff his dad wanted him to do cause the football team was good and would be so much better with him leading them to victory. Sometimes, sometimes he wished his dad wasn't his dad, that his dad was supportive of what he wanted to do and didn't mind if it didn't go with what he wanted for him. That if it didn't go with the plans that they could talk about it, discuss it like sane human beings instead of his dad screaming at him and ordering him to fall in line like the bible tells him to when concerning his father. So here he was, walking out of the college with papers in his laptop bag, an email address to talk to the dean on and a list of scholarships he was eligible for not to mention the rest of the tuition would be taken care of by the school as long he was apart of the football team.

He'd spent almost four hours talking with the Dean, he'd his schedule just to talk with a promising young man like Matteus. They'd talked about the school, the students, the campus, the football program that he hinted was already hearing about him and how amazing he was at the sport. Basically he'd buttered Matteus up for four straight hours cause their football team sucked to high heaven and needed a star player like him to pull them out of the gutter and into the lime light that they deserved by the grace of god. If Matty heard the Dean say by the grace of god one more time he might just stab him with the athame in his bag, well not really but he'd have walked out of his office right then and there. Sadly, and thankfully his secretary called informing him that his daughter had gone into labor and he quickly excused himself showing Matty out and practically running for his car. Matty had been so happy to be out of his office and away from the man and his constant staring and great big grey eyes. They were mildly creepy, he didn't like them, he liked Hazel eyes, which made him think of the warlock and then suddenly he was depressed. Which was happening a lot lately as for some reason he kept thinking about the warlock even though it made him sad. It didn't make any sense to him why he would keep thinking about him. The guy had just up and disappeared right in front of his eyes and had looked at him like he'd done something wrong.

Now he was wandering the campus, trying to find his way back to his car, and not be lost as it so happened that he was. He had no clue where he was going since he'd been led straight to the Dean's office instead of being shown around. There were a bunch of students walking around but none of them seemed interesting in helping him out. Putting his sunglasses on he watched the world around him through green lenses as he tried to find his way back to the parking lot. He spent twenty minutes walking around the same area going in different directions before he was so agitated he gave up. Looking around him he was bound and determined to ask a student for help. But they all looked so busy or not interested when he glanced their way. Finally he made his way to a part of the campus that had a coffee shop on it, one that smelled divine. But the real prize was sitting across from it staring at it like it was a long lost friend but he couldn't hug it. A lot of the girls passing him were staring at him like a hunk of meat and giggling as they passed him waggling the rears like turning signals. Shaking his head he made a quick choice and wandered over to the extremely attractive guy and gently tapped his shoulder. "Um..scuse me..I know this is really weird but I'm sort of desperate right now. I will get you what ever you want to eat and or drink out of that coffee shop if you can please show me back to the parking lot to my car?" He takes off his sunglasses after he asks because his eyes are that startling blue color and most people can't help but stare and maybe he can use this to his advantage. Hopefully.

Riddick was lost in his own little world. Staring so forlornly at the shop. As a result he didn't realize that someone had actually walked up to him. they were down wind, and on the other side of him so that the sun didn't cast a shadow on him. So when the tap came to his shoulder, Riddick jumped to his feet in surprise, and hazel eyes met startling blue ones. Like the sky on a clear day. The color caused Riddick to relax. He didn't smell anything funny about the guy before him to indicate he was a monster, but he was still a bit cautious. He could be a hunter, though that was impossible as he just arrived yesterday and hadn't killed anyone.

"What...oh...um...really?" Riddick asked surprised. Then he couldn't help as his eyes looked him over. A natural thing he did with any male or female. He was cute. The first guy he thought was cute in a long time, and this caused a blush to rise to his cheeks a bit, and he cleared his throat a bit. Suddenly nervous as he's never had a drink or anything with a guy, let alone a complete stranger while in human form.

"Yeah sure that won't be a problem," Riddick said quickly in case the offer was with drawn quickly. He would get the scent of the guy when he could, and then following it to his car would be easy. First food....and coffee. Sweetness he was going to be heaven he was sure of it! A hot guy paying for it and joining him with the flavors of coffee and what ever else filling his mouth. Yes...heaven. Then again he thought that of belly rubs and sex as well. He shuffled on his feet and waited for the stranger to lead the way.

"I'm Riddick by the way. Riddick Jensen," Riddick said introducing himself to the guy. His parent's weren't missing him. He had never seen him in the missing persons lists or anything so he wasn't worried about giving out his real name to the guy.

OR A MAN WHO MAKES POTIONS IN A TRAVELLING SHOW
Matteus hadn't meant to surprise the guy, he'd just been staring so hard at the shop maybe he just hadn't noticed Matty walking up to him. He had been staring at it really hard, the smells coming out of it were extremely good so he couldn't blame the guy for staring at it in the first place. Matty of course had never been this kind of coffee shop before so he wasn't exactly aware of what it sold besides coffee. From the smell of it, possibly cookies or cakes but he couldn't be sure until he was inside with the guy. That is if he agreed to help him find his car, which he should be able to since he went to the college, or at least he hoped he went to the college. If he didn't Matty had just made a really big mistake with a stranger he didn't even know who might be a serial killer stalking students at the school. Who ever he was, Matty just hoped it wasn't a serial killer cause he'd been down the road of things trying to kill him and he wasn't liking it to much.

He almost took a step back when the other male stood up, sitting down had taken away from his height. Not to mention the guy had wide shoulders and could be an amazing linebacker if he played football, and if he didn't he'd make the team as soon as any coach saw him. He was so busy staring at him he almost missed his words but had caught them at the last second and grinned at him shyly, "Yeah, I don't mind at all if it helps me get to my car I'm kind of lost right now. Coffee and then more car searching sounds like the perfect plan to me, I mean if you really don't mind doing it. I'll get you what ever you'd like in the coffee show, though if it's as good as it smells from here we might be there a while cause I skipped breakfast this morning and that stuff smells really good." If he hadn't been paying attention he would have easily missed the blush coming across the male's face and cleared his throat before looking back at Matteus.

Actually hearing him say it wouldn't be a problem to help Matty out made him relax a whole lot more and grinned at him brightly shining his mega-watt smile with his shining blue eyes, which usually blinded people or melted their hearts. Either way he was extremely happy at the moment, he'd get to have coffee and something to eat with an extremely attractive guy that would help him find his car. "Thank you! I promise I'll make it worth you while with the meal from the coffee shop. I've been wandering around here forever and no one seems all that willing to help me out, not that I blame them they all seem to have such interesting lives going on. What with walking around and ignoring a person in need of a small amount of assistance." He was being completely sarcastic and oddly spiteful at the moment, which he never usually was. Maybe it was because of the four hour meeting he'd sat through, or possibly being lost and frustrated with himself. Or it could be the last time he'd talked to an attractive guy he'd accidentally kissed him while he'd been asleep and then they guy had freaked out on him. So the world had to forgive him for taking a second chance and not throw all of this back in his face.

Hearing the guys name made him smile again though this time far more shyly, "Nice to meet you Riddick, I'm Matteus Carrington, but everyone I know calls me Matty. So, come one I can't stand here any more I have to get whatever is smelling so good from that coffee shop." He chuckled as he walked a little bit towards the shop and then looked back at Riddick tilting his head a bit, "I can't go without you, otherwise the buying of the food and drink bribing thing doesn't work like it should. Plus, I'm not going back on my word, you get what ever you want in there and I get help finding my car, and I never go back on a promise so no worries on that." Hopefully Riddick wasn't having second thoughts, not only would Matty be losing out on a way to find his car. But he'd be losing his chance to have a meal or something with an extremely cute guy. Who might or might not think he was cute back, that had to be why he blushed. Or he might have just been blushing cause Matty had surprised him, some guys didn't like that happening.

Riddick agreed one hundred percent with the male. Then again his breakfast was dog food. It had been fine then but he had shifted afterwards and that took up a good amount of energy. the only way to restore that energy was substance. Food...water...what ever. He got a good look at the male, and he had to admit he was attractive. The first guy in a while he thought was attractive. Sadly the few others had all been straight. Very straight. So of course he had yet to really share much with guys. Either that or they were much older than himself to the point where it was just creepy. So eating and talking with someone who seemed about his age seemed like it would be good....if he could keep up with any topic.

The smile didn't affect Riddick, but the eyes did. He liked how they looked. Reminded him of the sky on a good clear day. They were the type he could just watch all day if he was allowed. They were very expressive...or maybe the guy just wasn't good at hiding how he felt. He didn't mind it right now as it made his eyes light up and seem to almost sparkle. At least in his opinion they seemed to almost sparkle. "It's really no problem, but thanks" Riddick mumbled out sheepishly and modestly. He wasn't use to getting such thanks in either form. "Besides can you blame them? There can be a lot of weirdo's out there..." Riddick said and didn't mention the things that went bump in the night. Get one's attention and it was normally a bad thing.

In Riddick's case the guy was perfectly safe. He did not fit the profile of those that he normally hunted down, killed and ate. So Matteus, as the guy gave his name, was in the clear. He didn't realize matty had started to walk until he called to him saying he couldn't feed him if he stood there. Sheepishly blushing, Riddick quickly caught up to him, and shoved his hands into the pockets of the pants he was wearing. "Sorry my mind wandered a moment. So...I take it your new in town?" Riddick asked curiously. Some what hoping that maybe he would be around and thus work on getting out now and then. He joined Matty's side, and started for the shop. He still had a few hours he could kill before he would have to work on returning to Lark's apartment.

OR A MAN WHO MAKES POTIONS IN A TRAVELLING SHOW
For the first time in his life Matteus was surprised to find someone wasn't swayed by the power of his smile or his eyes. Well, maybe half of that was true, even if Riddick wasn't staring at his smile his eyes were a different story. With a small blush he realized that if he could he'd stare all day into Riddick's eyes, they were captivating. He'd never met another guy who had eyes he could just lose himself in, maybe now he knew what it was like when people looked into his eyes. He'd often heard it described as the exact same thing, just wanting to watch them all day and night, like they were the most beautiful eyes in the world and no others would compare. They were warm, curious and an odd color, almost like an orange brown or something, maybe an amber color. If he got the chance to he'd have to ask him what color his eyes were, and hopefully it wasn't too odd of a question for him to answer at all. Besides his eyes Matty decided to take a moment to really watch or look at Riddick, he already knew he was much taller than him. He had to be over six feet tall, which in Matty's book wasn't a bad thing at all. His hair was dark brown, almost black and was longer than Matty's, but it suited him extremely well. Riddick had to be a body builder of some type as well, there wasn't any other way of putting it. Finally tearing his eyes away from his observing he started listening to him as he talked, hoping he hadn't missed anything while he had been studying him.

Hearing the modesty coming along with his southern drawl made Matteus almost do a double take, he'd have to be extremely drunk not to recognize the fact that Riddick had to be from the south somewhere. His ears perked again as he listened to Riddick saying he didn't blame people, that there were a lot of weirdo's out in the world. That made him smile and chuckle, "Yeah, you're right I guess I should have expected that. Wait, how do I know your not a weirdo and how do you know I'm not a weirdo?" Matteus was honestly just teasing him, he was feeling a little awkward at the moment and was just trying to lighten the situation up some for himself. If Riddick was a weirdo then he'd sell his car and become a hobo, he just looked like a good old southern boy that had moved to the north, that was all. If he were back home most people would call Riddick a side turner, which in his town's own form of speaking meant he changed sides from the south to the north. Even to the day some people were still on about the Civil War where he was from. He managed a light chuckle before looking back at Riddick, "I'm kidding, I know you aren't a weirdo and I promise you I'm not a weirdo at all. I'm just a little odd and tend to talk to much when ever I get nervous which you can see right now as I'm still talking and I don't need to be.".

He couldn't help but chuckle at Riddick as he jogged over catching up with him easily before falling into step beside him and asking him if he was new in town. Blinking slowly he nodded, "I am actually, my stepdad wants me to check out the college here because he's friends with the Dean here. This isn't usually the type of college I'd consider but I could think of a few reasons I wouldn't mind trying out this place." His eyes flickered over to Riddick as he said that before he held the door open for the coffee shop and gently pushed Riddick ahead of him. As soon as he was inside his body was adjusting to the slightly cooler air, and the amazing aroma's dancing all around him. Opening his eyes and glancing at the giant menu behind the cash register up on the wall Matty pointed up to it before grinning at Riddick. "go ahead and pick two or three things off the list and I'll pay, as per my request. I'm going to be getting myself something as well and we can most likely eat over there by the window in the corner." He was starting to get just a little bit excited because he hadn't had his caffeine fix today yet. Once he got his coffee and maybe a bite or two to eat he'd be perfectly happy.

Riddick wasn't aware of the affect that his eyes had on Matteus. After all he thought he was quite plain other than being tall. Though he could smell the change in the male. Not exactly aroused, but not either. It was a rather confusing smell to Riddick as he's never smelled it before. People were either aroused or not aroused, not something in between. Honestly he didn't know there was an in between until now. Then the question of the weirdo came up, and Riddick thought a moment on how to answer it. "Well...I guess it's just trust involved. Thought the...southern hospitality might have been considered though," Riddick said smiling a bit. He might have been a dog a lot these last few years, but he did still remember what it was like to be normal. The standard guy even if he didn't act it all the time.

Then he said he was just kidding and knew that Riddick wasn't a weirdo. If he only knew the truth, then maybe he wouldn't have been so trusting. So many things out there that went bump in the night. Worst things then him, and even then...he's still a killer. He would always be a killer. He doubted he could ever fully keep that part of himself under control. "Right," Riddick said just to agree with him. No need to break his innocence of the things that were out there. He fell into step along side him as they headed for the shop. He listened to why he was here, and was a little confused. If this wasn't a place he'd normally consider...then why consider it at all? Then again he wasn't use to being flirted with, or even hinted at by guys as he's never met someone like him. As in another guy that was interested in guys.

When they stepped into the store, all thoughts but food was forgotten. The smells were teasing him in two senses. Smell and taste. Riddick could swear he was drooling from everything. When he was told he could get two to three things off the list he had to be careful. He had to think on what he wanted. The drink was simple French Vanilla Cappuccino with three shots of Irish Creme. Now the food. The food was a whole other matter. So many options and he didn't know where to begin to eliminate things. Those hazel like eyes seemed to drink in the list as he debated on what he should have.

OR A MAN WHO MAKES POTIONS IN A TRAVELLING SHOW
Matteus couldn't help but have the reaction he was having with Riddick, any red-blooded person would. He was tall, extremely well built the evidence of that was shown with the tightness of his t-shirt stretching over the muscles of his chest and arms. It was pretty amazing the t-shirt fit him at all, not that Matteus was complaining, or any of the girls walking around that were oggling him. Oddly enough the other male wasn't looking at any of the women that were visually undressing him, he kept looking at Matty which made the blood rush to his cheeks. Hearing his accent as he spoke again made him extremely happy, a southern accent that matched the one he kept hidden reminded him of home, the good home and the good people, not his evil home town. Hearing him say that it was the trust involved, not the mention the southern hospitality in trusting they both weren't weirdoes Matty couldn't contain the laugh and large smile that broke across his face. Nor could he stop himself from giving the other male a side hug before remembering they'd just met and quickly let go of him, although reluctantly. "Sorry...it um just really nice to hear another southern accent up here. I'm from Georgia, in case I haven't already mentioned that, and yes the southern hospitality comes into play very well here. I didn't think any one these days even knew what that was unless I was in the south, I doubt you'd be surprised how many strange looks I get when I offer to help someone with something. I mean, I know it's one thing to be wary of strangers but do I look like a serial killer? Wait...don't answer that please." The blush that had went away was back again because he'd realized too late he'd set himself up for some type of compliment on his looks and that would just make him blush even worse. Not to mention it might even turn him on some, what was it and meeting attractive guys in the oddest places?

Moving through the campus towards the Coffee shop made Matteus feel a little odd as he kept getting odd glances from people watching him and Riddick. There were more than a few jealous glares and flouncing away hair turns that he couldn't help but chuckle at and silently thank God that he was lucky enough to have met him. Hearing the singular answer to his odd rambling made him blush yet again, which he figured was going to be a slightly regular occurrence with Riddick. He found himself actually caring about what he was saying, he didn't want to seem like a complete idiot in front of the guy. He was attractive, seemed nice enough and that was a rare find these days, though so far he hadn't acted on any of the blushing which made Matteus wonder if he was even interested in guys at all. It wasn't like he was going to ask or anything because that would just mortify him to know end to have to ask. The extremely sad thing was Matteus had no gaydar, or that thing that let people automatically know when a person was gay or when they were bi or even bicurious. He just didn't have it and at times he ended up sticking his foot in his mouth, the few times he tried saying anything to a guy. Even now he wasn't sure if he should try and flirt, or if he should just stop and be friendly, it was a one of those do or do not situations. He could flirt and see if it blew up in his face like it did the other times, or he could just keep it friendly and not see if it went any where. That was his problem most of the time now, judging whether or not if it was worth the risk in asking or flirting.

As soon as they had stepped inside Riddick seemed to change instantly, he went from being quiet and a little awkward to totally focused and completely adorable. He actually started sniffing around like a dog, though no one seemed to noticed but Matteus and he found it cute. The drink order came fast enough and Matteus was able to relay the order to the woman at the counter along with his order for a Hazelnut and Nutmeg Coffee drink that he couldn't really pronounce. His food order was easy enough, just a small slice of pecan pie, a treat he missed from being back home. Not that the pie would taste as good as the one his aunt made, or even as good as the one he made. Not that he should judge too harshly, he just happened to be a weirdly good cook, not that he'd ever boast about it. Smiling he watched Riddick as he seemed to absorb the entire menu behind the counter as if he couldn't decide on anything and just wanted everything to eat. Matteus was pretty sure if he was a dog he'd be drooling all over the place right now, it was obvious now why he'd been looking at the place so intently when Matteus had walked up to him. The poor guy obviously had a soft spots for sweets, or food possibly, with a body like his he had to either work out which meant burning calories, or just naturally had a fast metabolism which meant eating tones of food to keep himself healthy. "You know, I could bring you back after helping me find my car? That way you can eat a bit more? I don't mind really, finding my car is a hug help to me and it's the least I could do?"

Riddick was a little puzzled on the intense look he was getting from Matty. Then again he wasn't use to getting scoped out in human form the last few years. He had forgotten what it was like to get checked out by anyone, let alone a potential person who might like him in turn. Seeing Matteus smile caused Riddick to smile too. He always believed they were contagious and it was one of the few things that was good to catch. Not like his condition that he wished he could do anything to get rid of it. Learning he was from the south made Riddick perk up more with curiosity. What were the odds he would meet someone down where he use to come from? Pretty slim in his opinion. When he commented further on the hospitality, and then asked if he looked like a killer caused his smile to slip just a little to the point it was more like a slight up turn of his lips. A teasing smirk or smile. Then the fellow southerner quickly said not to answer that so he didn't. He just remained silent as he walked next to him.

As they crossed the street, Riddick noticed the girls finally that were looking at him, and he blinked in surprise. He tilted his head curious to the side, kind of like the look a dog would get watching something that was interesting, curious, and yet confusing all at the same time. "I'll never understand why females get so upset if men don't look at them," Riddick said after a moment in puzzlement to show he had noticed, but didn't seem to really care. Then again he was helping someone. It would be rude to not focus on that first. Not to mention he didn't want to loose out on his free meal. Then Riddick picked up on something that surprised him completely. Someone was aroused, even if it was just a small tidbit, and it was close. Looking back to Matty in slight surprise he then got a very serious look on his face as he watched the male. He noticed the blush and realized the scent was coming from him.

He then blushed and wondered if maybe he had misread Matty. Maybe he was into the girls and not guys at all with how he kept looking at the women. Then he noticed how he was looking more intently at him then the women. As if Matteus was estimating his own reaction to the girls. Then suddenly how he was uneasy about something, and looked away a moment before looking back to him. No...Riddick was right the first time. He was definitely interested in guys, but why he wasn't doing much towards himself was puzzling. All the other bi or gay men he had met were flat out open and flirting. Maybe he wasn't so comfortable or use to flirting with guys.

Of course those were all thoughts he had before he entered the building. Now he was just starring at the menu. Debating on what he wanted and then Matteus spoke again. Saying they could return once they found his car. With that in mind Riddick spoke up to give his order, "Two Boston donuts and a slice of pecan pie as well," Riddick finally spoke up, and then blushed deeply as he looked down. He probably had seemed really silly staring at the menu. He wondered how long he had zoned out or other things he had done with out realizing what he was doing.

Matteus agreed with Riddick's view on wondering why women always wanted men to check them out or look at them. To him it was a little silly, if you wanted someone to notice you then you do it in much simpler ways than just giggling and staring or flipping your hair, the things women did just sometimes confused him horribly. It was one of the reasons he was glad he was far more attracted to me, men were something he could understand and relate to, well most of the time. Other times they were just as odd and confusing as women were and he had a harder time understanding them than women. Luckily he didn't have to worry about anything like that at all at the moment, he may have been attracted to Riddick, at least in the physical department he was never one to just go for it like most of the people said these days. He liked to get to know people, which meant it'd take more time than finding his care and returning to the coffee shop before anything like that could happen. Not that it would, he didn't have the time, he only had a few more days in South Dakota, and even if that was enough time for most it wasn't for him. He didn't do flings or one night stands, not to mention still being a virgin was a huge factor in how he approached his dating life. Even if he didn't have one most of the guys he'd ever met were only interested in sex, and if he wasn't going to put out then they'd just ignore him. Which they did because he wasn't going to, losing his virginity wasn't something he was going to do on the fly or with some random person. It was going to special, even if he had to wait until he was thirty it was going to be special, he was just that kind of person.

It had apparently been a good idea for him to say that they two of them could return to the coffee shop after finding his car. The other male had quickly decided on choosing two Boston donuts and a slice of pecan pie which just made Matteus smile. Pecan Pie, it was amazing, and highly underrated in the north, to these northern people it was just a dish, a pie, and nothing more. But to the people of the south it was more than that, it was a family project, going out and gathering the pecans, then cracking them with hammers on the back porch, and taking the nuts and giving them to an adult so they could be used in the pie itself. Of course Matty had always done everything by himself when he'd decided to make Pecan pie, unless he could bribe some of his 'friends' into helping him make one. Coming back into reality he handed the correct amount of cash over to the woman at the cash register and she told them it would be a few minutes before their stuff was read. Nodding to her Matty just pointed over to the seating area, "We'll just sit over there, we don't have anywhere to be at the moment. Come on Riddick, we're gonna sit for a bit." Grinning he walked over to a table that had been situated in the corner of the coffee shop and took the seat that was in the corner. He didn't like having his back to entrances or rooms full of people. It was a nervous habit he'd had since he was a small child, it made him nervous and edgy, which was always why he took a corner seat or a booth along the side of the wall where he could look out and watch people.

Watching the people walk in and order their meals made Matteus feel a little better, though the sight of the Dean walking in made his eyes bulge a little. He seriously did not like that man, more than anything he made him think of his father which just made him nervous and scared. Thinking about his father made him think of home, and thinking of home made him think of his town and the people and the cult-like feel he got whenever he was there. It was one of those places where people were all the same religion and were fanatical about it to the point of being scary. Shivering just barely he did his best to turn his attention back towards Riddick and gave him a smile, a weak one, but a smile none the less. Hopefully the other male wouldn't have noticed the odd look and the shiver, then again if he had he could just say it was a draft of cold air. "So do you go to school here Riddick? I was actually wondering because I know the dean gave me a layout of all the glasses from his perspective but honestly I would be far more interested in a students out look on this place as the Dean I think is usually in his office and not out and about. I was actually curious about the library department and the football team, if they have one, my uh..dad wants me to try out for the team and hopefully, or at least for him I'll go pro after graduating." Mentioning his dad aloud brought another shiver of fear, he really didn't like mentioning or even talking about him. But at times it was impossible not to mention him or say something of him or about him or even to him when something came along that reminded Matteus of him.
