It was a very cold, dark and gloomy night in the state of Pennsylvania in a small town called Frick's Lock. It's an old abandoned town with a nuclear power plant just behind it. There are two tall water reactor units that are intimidating and scary looking from the abandoned historical village below.

This small abandoned historical village was breeding grounds for demons. The moment Sonneillon entered Frick's Lock the demon felt other demon's presence their, but they were none that worried the demon. For now, Sonneillon had found Charley's body, which was accommodating for what the demon had planned.

She looked out over the town that was behind her then stepped towards the very old paved road that ran through town. Wearing a nurses uniform still, Charley stood outside in the cold, seemingly not bothered by the freezing breeze that brushed over her. She was waiting for someone to come down this deserted looking road.

When she saw headlights bouncing off of the trees, she brought an arm out and stuck her thumb up. This demon was going to try and get in the car with someone. She smiled devilishly and waited for her unsuspecting victim.

Sonneillon loved to toy with humans. The woman stuck within was even going to get a little traumatized by the things he planned on doing to his victims. Sonneillon was devious and twisted. The demon was already thinking about the things he could do to his next victim. If it all panned out exactly how he planned it. For some reason, he had a desire to take over women's bodies, which was why he picked this one. She had fit the perfect description. He always went for the ones that were saintly or always wanting to help others in general with faith in the Lord. He liked to break their spirits.

Blue was acting up again. The old Chevy truck was still in much need of some TLC. Even though Bobby had fixed her up somewhat, Sully had been anxious to get out of there after dealing with Jo. Bobby had found it amusing to put them out on a hunt together. Needless to say Sully was happy to get Blue back even if she wasn’t quite finished yet and get the hell out of a dodge. There was a reason she didn’t get along with most people. It was mostly because she didn’t trust anyone as far as she could throw them.

Sully almost blew past the brunette standing on the side of the road. It was barely a glance that Sully got of the woman. She wore a nurse’s uniform and was hitchhiking. That sent all sorts of warning bells off in Sully’s head. Still – if Sully didn’t pick her up it was likely that someone else would and they might be more inclined to do some unsavory things to the woman. Sully didn’t usually pick up hitch hikers, but she couldn’t let a dainty woman who was either crazy or high (more than likely that is) get picked up by some psycho who was nothing but hands and could easily over power her.

Sighing she pulled Blue onto the shoulder and honked once to signify that the chick get a move on. Sully was on her way to a job in Georgia. Poltergeist. It was a simple enough fix and for the moment Sully needed simple. Everything was chaotic and she needed just a little bit of calm. Wherever this chick was going, well Sully’d take her as far as she could, but she couldn’t deviate from her path. A hunt is a hunt is a hunt and the job always has to come first. Otherwise innocent people might die.

Moving her old army jacket off the seat, Sully waited for the woman to get in before looking over at her. “Where ya headed?”

Headlights bounced off of Charley's face. She brought an arm up to shield her eyes as an old Chevy truck barreled by her. It didn't appear to be stopping, so she stood and waited for the next car. The demon knew it could be a wihle, but that was no problem. It could stay in this position all night while waiting for another vehicle to pass by in the middle of nowhere.

Sonneillon was hoping for a female driver, but if it was a man that wouldn't stop the demon from toying with them either. There was something about hurting females that really got him excited though. He liked to hear them scream and beg for mercy beneath his doings.

The Chevy stopped. That was quite obvious from the sound of the idling engine. Charley turned as the horn was honked and jogged towards the Chevy. One thing Sonneillon loved about using the bodies of saintly people was they gave off that good girl vibe and had a sweet attitude about them. It was the perfect type to make others get tugged in and trust the demon that possessed Charley.

Opening the door that squeaked heavily, she hopped in and closed it behind her. "Centralia," she told Sully. "Have you heard of it?" Not too many have heard of this place. It's an old abandoned city that used to house two thousand was down to a population of about ten people. It was all due to strange mine fires that has been going on for years. Now Centralia had turned into a ghost town.

"Are you heading that way?" She questioned her.

Looking down at her nurses outfit, she plucked at the white top. "I just quit my job," she told her to ease any worry that Sully might being having about her current attire.

“Never have,” Sully said in response to the Centralia place. Once the woman shut the door, Sully started back on the road. Blue’s engine made a massive sound that wasn’t all pleasant. She could be temperamental sometimes. Dean had once compared Sully’s truck to its owner saying they had a temper to rival each other. Sully was fairly certain that Blue won out every time.

Rolling down her window, Sully rested her elbow on the windowsill, her other hand on the wheel. “Not sure if I’m heading that way till you tell me where abouts it is.”

The wind was cool as it flowed through the truck, picking up sound as Sully picked up speed. Honestly she wasn’t that chatty type, but Sully was getting the vibe that this chick was. If Sully was heading towards the Centralia place she hoped it wouldn’t be a horribly long drive. Sully wasn’t exactly a people person.

“Uh good for you?” She peered over at the woman curiously unsure what to really say about that. “Taking a stand against the man and all that?”

Sully was a bit socially awkward and shook her head. “Yeah, honestly lady, let’s put it another way. I don’t care. I’m just giving you a ride so you don’t get picked up by Mr. Douche and Mr. Bag who want nothing more than to have their way with you. So, that being said, let’s just get a few things straight.

“Don’t touch anything, don’t ask for a thousand bathroom breaks, and for the love of God don’t attempt small talk.” She leaned back in her seat a bit. “There’s some jerky in the glove compartment if you’re hungry and a canister with water under the seat.”

Maybe Sully wasn’t the best people person in the world, but she wasn’t a complete retch. She didn’t know when the woman had last ate or had something to drink. Sully just wasn’t good at making conversation. She was however, pretty damn good at telling it like it is.

“Enjoy you’re ride on the Jenna Morgan express.” She smiled at the woman before bringing her gaze back to the road.

Charley stared out the window, listening to the old truck. The engine sounded like it was about to drop dead. This didn't concern the demon. If it died then no big deal. He had another victim in his hands, that was all that mattered. It made him smile. Charley's face lit up with a wicked smile, but luckily she was not facing the other woman to see it.

Dropping the smile, she turned back to gaze forward. "I will," she told her. "The highway is coming up and we'll follow that most of the way." It was only an hour and a half drive, really not that far. The city was another favorite spot for demons. Humans didn't even inhabit the area. It was considered unsafe. There has been mine fires beneath the city for years. They could never explain the reason it began, but the demons all knew. Now the ground fell apart, sucking up homes and even people in it. After it began to devour people the cities populous dropped dramatically. Centralia had now turned into a ghost town with smoke coming up from the ground beneath.

Sonneillon could tell that Sully was a woman of very little words. He was fine with that as well. "You could say that," she said with a chuckle. If the woman only knew. Sonneillon wanted to laugh at her blunt attitude. He liked it. She was telling him she didn't care. That was fine too. "Very well," she said quietly, almost meekly. The demon acted like the sweet girl that was trapped within.

"No thank you," she said to the suggestion of jerky and water. She didn't need it nor want it.

"Thank you," she mumbled and continued to gaze out the front window. The truck was eating up pavement rather quickly, which was nice. The woman drove fast, and the demon was very excited to get to their destination.

The woman didn’t turn out to be as gabby as Sully thought she might. She never even offered a name. Sully wasn’t too worried about that. She figured if the lady wanted to keep her identity a secret, well then that was her choice. It wasn’t any of Sully’s business so she just continued to drive down the highway.

“Gotta say it’s a bit odd, you not telling me exactly where this place is,” Sully said over the wind. There was a feeling in her gut. A persistent itch that Sully couldn’t scratch. She never ignored her gut. It was what had gotten her this far in life and probably if she started ignoring it now, Sully’d wind up road kill or worse.

Her demeanor was calm and cool, but there was a tingling up her spine, something telling Sully that something wasn’t right. Either way, she wasn’t about to kick the woman back out on the side of the road. So long as it was on the way to Georgia, Sully didn’t mind giving her a ride, but the hunter was paranoid as it was.

Honestly, Sully was already kicking herself for being stupid. She’d gone soft since the torture and she really needed to toughen herself back up. Then again what was the worst that happened? If this chick turned out to be some sort of twisted serial killer who preyed on people who picked up hitchhikers, Sully could handle that. She wasn’t worried about that at all.

The odds of this woman being something supernatural – well that was out there – possible, but not likely. That didn’t mean that Sully’s defenses weren’t up. Then again it was rare they were ever down.

Sully drummed her fingers on the steering wheel, the gears in her head turning as she grasped to that feeling in her gut.

Charley looked over at Sully and gave a little shrug. "I told you Centralia. I don't know the exact coordinates, but I know it's off the highway here. We don't have too much longer now," she informed her. The demon had no problems about telling this woman the city name. It was a desolate city that nobody talked about. It was one of those stories that people preferred not to speak about, except to forewarn people not to go there.

That the woman was asking questions had the demon suspicious that she was onto him, so he decided to institute small talk to see if that would ease her fears. "My name is Charley," she said to her. Of course, he found it much easier to use the name of the body he was riding. "So...do you travel a lot?"

Sonneillon was trying to buy some time before the woman got all creeped out on him and tried something stupid. He knew it wasn't much more time to buy. They were almost to their destination.

Then the headlights reflected off of a sign that said Centralia was the next exit - 1 mile left to go. "There it is. I told you we were almost there," she offered a smile. "I can't wait to get back home." It was the best reason the demon could use for traveling an hour from the previous spot.

"I don't have money to pay for the ride, but I could ask my mother to invite you in for food and a place to sleep," she offered, trying to appear as the good samaritan. The demon was working really hard to initiate conversation here and ease Sully's fear. He hoped it was working because he really wanted to play.

"Once you get off you'll make a left. That will take you right into town." Luckily it was very dark out. If Sully saw the town during the day she would probably slam the breaks and turn around. Since it was a deserted town there was no streetlights to light the way. What would be even better is if she hit one of the openings from the fires below them and the tires got lodged. It would give reason to get out on foot.

Charley seemed very excited to be going home. Maybe Sully was just reading into things. Maybe Charley just had a rough go of it and was going home to her roots. People supposedly did that. Sully didn’t know. She had no roots to return to. Just an old, empty house with a blood stain on the floor and bad memories. Seemed like Sully had been trying to outrun the bad in her life for a long time now. She wondered if she’d ever be able to get past them.

“I travel as needed,” Sully told with her a shrug. It was bent not to elaborate too much. Then people asked her what she did for a living, and Sully would have to come up with a lie and really she just didn’t have the energy to do that. Usually when she was going in on a hunt the undercover gig was already figured out.

Charley pointed to the sign and Sully nodded. The thing was old and dingy, half covered with rust. Apparently Centralia didn’t believe in upkeep. Sully took the exit, getting off the highway. The closer and closer they came to town the more and more Sully felt like something was off. Everything was run down, nothing was cared for.

“Y’all don’t much care for tourists, do ya?” Sully asked sarcastically as she continued following the woman’s directions. There was an odd smell in the air that Sully couldn’t quite place. “You sure this is where you want to be?”

That nagging feeling in Sully’s gut was returning. Something about this situation just wasn’t right. She glanced over at Charley. “I’m not expecting payment or food. I’m just gonna make sure you’re getting where you need to get safely and then I’ll be on my way.

“I’m not one to impose on people anyways.”

Charley nodded, listening to Sully speak of her travels, which wasn't much at all. The demon had hoped to spark some conversation, but the woman seemed to be hell bent on not speaking much.

The small town was exactly as Sonneillon had remembered it. The place was deserted. Mother nature had begun to take it over. Humans had stopped living there due to the fires below, which explained the smell that Sully was getting. It was smoke and gases that filled the air. It wasn't healthy for a human to live there for too long or that is what was speculated, but there was a handful that still stayed in the city. Surprisingly they refused to give up the life they had there.

"Not really. We have better things to do," she told Sully. "Yes, this is the place. It's an old town, but we make do," she lied.

Looking towards Sully, she gave a small nod. "Very well. Don't say I never offered you anything."

She then lifted her hand and pointed to a house on the side of the road. It was old, dingy and didn't have any lights on. It was an old run down place that was run down by the effects of the environment and mine fires.

The demon waited for Sully to pull next to the house. "Thank you for the ride," the woman said quite earnestly. She reached for her buckle then stopped. "I forgot to buckle. What do you think about that?" She chuckled.

Her eyes were cast downwards as they flashed to black. Then she lifted her gaze and slammed a hard fist towards Sully's face in an attempt to knock her out.

This place was bad news. It was run down, dilapidated, and honestly, Sully hadn’t seen one person running around this place. Even if it was a small town, struggling to get by, people should be walking the streets. There were barely even any cars and the roads didn’t look like they’d had any upkeep in years. Sully gave the woman a sidelong glance. While she didn’t mind run down places, even Sully had to admit this was a bit much.

She pulled up to the house, Blue’s engine sputtering in protest. Leaning against the steering wheel, Sully peered at the house that honestly looked like it had been abandoned for years. She was starting to wonder if the scrubs were patient scrubs instead of nurse’s scrubs. It was possible. A lot of patients in psychiatric wards were put in scrubs now a days.

“Yeah well I’m not usually one to accept what’s been offered anyways,” She said to Charley. Her gaze was still on the house. “And I could really care less that you forgot to put on your seatbelt. I’m not your mother, but I sure do feel bad for her if she lives here.”

This entire situation was so far off kilter that Sully wasn’t sure what to make of it. All she knew was something sure as shit wasn’t right. Slowly, her hand began moving to her opposite wrist. For some reason she wanted to feel the knife in her palm.

Sully went to turn in her seat. “Are you sure this is the right -“

Stars exploded in Sully’s vision, Charley’s fist having connected with her jaw. Sully’s head snapped to the side and it was all she could to keep from eating the passenger side window. Honestly she may have, because the world was fuzzy for a moment, before it went black.

Should have trusted her gut.

"I'm quite positive this is the right place," the demon told Sully after she was knocked out. It had gone exactly how he had planned it. The woman gave him a ride where he wanted to be, and he got her as the prize in the end.

The things he planned to do to her. Already he began to chuckle, but it came out of Charley's lips and sounded cold and devious.

"You really shouldn't give a ride to strangers," he still spoke to the unconscious Sully. Grabbing her by the waist, he tugged her out easily and tossed her over a shoulder. Then they entered the abandoned home.

There wouldn't be anyone around to catch this. Nobody was stupid enough to come on Frick's Locks boundary. They all knew the chances they took by entering the cities boundaries. One little sinkhole was all it took and they'd all be underground.

The smell in the air didn't both Sonneillon. He welcomed the smell of burning gases. It reminded him of hell.

The door shut behind them after entering the house. Then it was time to move downstairs into the basement. He'd been here before, so he already had a table and tools in place.

It would be on this table that he'd strap Sully down with some leather straps. Permitting she didn't wake up and try to get away from him before he did so.

”POW! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!”

It suddenly had new meaning for Sully. Sure she’d been knocked out before. Hell, she’d been beaten to a bloody pulp before. Unfortunately demons hit a lot harder than Sully’s father ever had, and her mouth was swelling up even in her sleep.

The young hunter didn’t wake as she was dragged into the house. Darkness held her tight, keeping Sully oblivious as to what was going on around her. It wasn’t until after the bitch had her buckled to the table that Sully slowly started coming out of her slumber. The closer she came to consciousness the more her head pounded like someone was playing the drums on her brain.

Sully tried to move, but found that leather straps were holding her down. Panic forced her into awareness and she looked around at the dingy basement. Flashbacks hit hard of being in the desert in Arizona. The underground bunker, the slow torture and starvation. Sully sucked in a panicked breath and forced herself to let it slowly.

“You fucking, bitch!” Sully’s tone was bitter, angry, covering up any fear that she felt. “Christo!”

When her eyes snapped black, Sully grinned slowly. “I’m going to send your ass back to hell, slowly and painfully.”

The hunter squirmed against her bonds, the leather pressing into her skin. There were symbols in the straps. Sully recognized a few of them. Other’s not so much. Either way, she knew that what was coming wasn’t going to be fun.

Dean was going to kill her.

Once again, no one knew where Sully was. She had a bad habit of wandering off on her own, not relying on anyone. Normally Dean checked in with her now a-days. It was as if he was scared she’d disappear again. It was easy enough to happen in their line of work.

Keeping a steady glare on the demon, Sully barked, “What do you want, you fucking black eyed, rotten egg smelling bitch?!”

Sonneillon grinned deviously as Sully started to come to. He was lining up his tools, checking each one out. The silver on the scalpel glinted off the light. He was just fucking with the woman now. He wanted her frightened. It was better that way. It made for a more interesting experience for the both of them.

The moment she yelled out Christo he growled. Charley's eyes flicked to black. Then Sonneillon reached over when he realized what he was up against and slapped duct tape to her mouth. He was proud of himself, now she couldn't say anything to harm him.

"A hunter. I feel privileged to get to play with one," he went on. The words slipped sweetly from Charley's lips. "You just might send me back to hell, but not before I have a little fun with you."

The demon brought the scalpel down towards Sully, letting her get a good luck at the tool he was about to use. "I want to make you scream and beg for mercy. Then..when you are praying for God to help you I'm going to remind you he will never be here to help you."

Then, he brought the tool down to Sully's abdomen, cutting into the fabric of her shirt and exposing her abdomen. He slid the scalpel sideways over Sully's abdomen, not hard enough to slice her open, but enough to draw a line of blood.

"Let me guess. You are praying that a certain someone comes to save you?" Sonneillon chuckled darkly. "It'll never happen. Nobody would know you are out here. This place is so far off the map, and no sane person would enter this town due to its safety hazards."

Sully hated being scared. The fact that she was strapped to a table in a basement in the middle of a town where no one knew where she was – well that was a bad thing. The thing of it is, once upon a time, when Sully got scared she got angry. To a point she could still do that, but when the demon whore pulled out the blood, a cold sweat washed over Sully. She tried to keep her face stoic, but her mind was connecting the sharp blade with skinwalker claws that had dug into her skin. There were plenty of scars on her body, stomach included – though most of them were on her back.

Twin claw mark scars adorned each shoulder. One from when she was seventeen, the other from just a few years ago. It was amazing she had any use of her arms at all with all the tendons and ligaments that had been torn and slashed through. Sully imagined she had some help with that. Cheveyo was an annoying little shit, but her spirit guide often provided a boost of healing when Sully needed it, though no one knew that she was determined to keep it that way.

Instinctively Sully struggled against the bonds, the leather digging into her skin. There was a look of child-like glee on the woman’s face – creepy, Steven King in the Shining child-like glee – but it was there. It was disturbing as hell.

Sully’s heart rate picked up as the blade touched her flesh. It was cold and she didn’t feel it breaking her skin, but she knew the deeper the demon went, the more painful it would be. As frightened as she was, Sully sure as shit wasn’t about to beg for her life. That wasn’t her style. Instead she gripped onto that deep seeded anger she’d had since she was eight years old, letting that along with defiance bubble to the surface.

“You’re fucking pathetic,” Her voice held a false bravado that she wasn’t sure of, but the wrath and anger was enforcing it and Sully didn’t question it. Instead, she spit in the demon bitches face. “Let me out of these straps and we’ll see how much fun you have then.”

Granted, Sully didn’t think that would work. However it would be time, distract the demon from cutting into her – or it would piss her off and make the pain so much slower and worse. Either way, Sully wasn’t about to just lay their like a slab of meat on butcher’s block.

There were so many problems in this situation that Sully didn’t know where to begin. Even if she managed to exorcise the demon there was no guarantee the host was alive. That would leave Sully strapped to table with no way to escape. She’d likely rot down here unless by some miracle someone found her – of course that wasn’t likely.

It didn’t matter though. There was only so much Sully could do, and to be honest, she had no desire to be tortured again. At some point, Sully would think she’d get used to it, but it just wasn’t that simple. Glaring at the demon, she began an exorcism she knew by heart.

Sonneillon had inspected each tool, making sure it was sharp and ready. Looking down at the woman, he chuckled loudly at her words. Leaning forward, he peered at her through Charley’s eyes as her hot breath brushed against Sully’s skin. “I would rather not. I like the straps. It keeps them from getting away too easily. Then I like to see them beg for mercy while I carve their insides out. By the time I’m done the walls will be painted red.”

That smile was back on Charley’s face - the one that was sadistic and creepy looking. It was a natural look for Sonneillon, not so natural for Charley, though Sully would never know that since she’d not known Charley before this. “It doesn’t look like I was the first to carve into your skin. I’m a little jealous, but I create my own piece of art over the scars.”

He could tell that this woman was scared. She just put on a really brave show. She was doing her best to try and get him to let her out of the straps. He wasn’t that stupid. Anyway, he had more fun like this. Listening to everything they had to say, some with their bravado, others with fright.

The scalpel slid up farther on her abdomen, cutting into the skin over her sternum. The cuts weren’t deep enough to open her up, but deep enough to have blood pooling from it. Cold fingers slid over the wound, pushing blood out and away. Sonneillon loved the feel of warm blood oozing from someone.

Sonneillon was being calm and easy going about cutting her open. There was nothing vicious behind his movements, not until she started to do an exorcism. He growled, eyes flashing black and stabbed the scalpel into her forearm, pinning it down. It was a quick and jerky movement. It shut her up long enough for him to rip a piece of her shirt and shove it into her mouth. “Try that again and it’ll hurt worse next time.”

The demon was pissed now and not going to be nice about anything he did to her. She was frightened before..well..she should definitely be frightened now. He was going to make her wish she would have kept her trap shut.
