Good, because that man is none other than Frank Davies, the father of Alison and Mitchell Davies. He is a Widower and a Detective in Lincoln, Nebraska; which is where he was born and raised, much like both of his children.
When his kids were still in single digits (Alison was 7 and Mitch was 4) his loving wife Serena was taken from him due to a werewolf attack that he and the rest of the Lincoln PD had written off as vicious, cult killing due to the fact that her heart was taken. He has no idea that Supernatural things are actually real.
Nor does he have any idea of his daughter's actual job as a hunter of said supernatural things, but that is definitely due to change in time.
Frank Davies was born in 1965 (Yes, I know that Nathan Fillion was born in 1971, work with me here people v.v), married at the age of eighteen and a cop by the time his daughter was born. He has never really had a run in with anything supernatural until his wife's death, hence his disbelief in the paranormal. He has a strong sense of justice, which is why he wanted to be a Cop and as time went on, he eventually took the Detective's Exam and passed.
Frank has and always will be protective of his family, something that was instilled into him by his father and that was instilled into his father by his father's father and so son. The importance of family has always been stressed to him and so with the death of his wife, he became even more so protective over his kids, even if he couldn't always be at home when they were younger to protect them.
When his wife died, Frank was devastated. Like "majorly depressed" devastated. Serena was the love of his life and he has not since then remarried, but whether he's dating or not is up to the player.
Frank, much like his face claim, can be charming and funny when he wants to be. He's not always serious and likes to crack jokes to ease tension, a trait his children inherited. However, Frank does have a serious side to him, which he uses when he's on the job working a case or when something important happens, like finding out about the Apocalypse (which he hasn't... yet). Another aspect of his personality is transfixed around the fact that he is a father. His children are both grown, but he will do whatever he can to protect them or really, anyone who needs help or reminds him of his kids.
Any other aspects of him, his history his likes, dislikes, fears, etc are all up to the player, you have free reign so long as the above mentioned parts are included.
Also, the Face claim is not mandatory... Though it is preferred. I mean, who doesn't love Nathan Fillion?
