Once parked outside her motel room, Liv climbed out of her truck and double clicked its remote to make sure the doors locked. At the same time, Vitani commented on the looks of the motel. At least Liv didn't have to worry about the other girl being put off by the slimy nature of a cheap room. "It ain't much, but it keeps the rain out... So far."
She noticed Vitani biting her lip as she approached, and damn did it add to her sex appeal. "Right this way, miss." Liv smiled as she led the way to the room, lucky number 7, and fumbled with her keys until she found the right one for the door. Turning the lock and swinging the door open, she stepped inside and flicked on the light before motioning Vitani inside.
"You'll have to excuse the mess, I don't normally have people over." And the place was quite a bit of a mess, really it would be a true test of how badly Vitani wanted to hook up with Liv. Salt lined the single window and the door, a typical precaution. An assortment of weapons from handguns, to shotguns, to knives covered the only table, as she had been cleaning them all earlier before she left for the bar. Victim profiles littered one side of the trussed up bed. And to top things off, her dirty laundry had been piled on the back of one unused chair. It looked rather like a bomb had gone off in the room.

Vitani shrugged, nodding a bit to her in a sort of gesture to say she didn't really care much about it not being fancy or anything. She'd never really been one for fancy places and though there were a few spots she'd kind of half-dreamed about going, she figured she never would. Besides, she figured she'd feel extremely out of place in anything that cost more than fifty bucks a night or that refused to charge by the hour. She looked over at Liv for a few more minutes, following behind her to the room she'd walked to, watching her hands fiddle with the door and the lock. She had nice hands, Vitani mused to herself. Odd as that was. The door opened and the light flickered on, Liv stepping inside and making way for Vitani after her. The tall redhead looked around the room for only a moment. Generally when people apologized for messes they were exaggerating a little bit - usually there wasn't too bad of a mess.
"Don't worry about it. I doubt I'll be paying too much attention to the room anyway." She said with a small smirk, turning her eyes back to Liv and moving towards her before her eyes moved to the salt line at the window sill. She raised an eyebrow and touched the outer edge of it, looking at the salt on her finger. "Salt? What for?" She asked, glancing around one final time before looking back to Liv and reaching out to shut the door behind her. Maybe she could pick up a few things from Liv about keeping herself out of the way of demons like she'd run into tonight. Granted, Vitani didn't really think too much about it. She'd always assumed demons and the like were a bunch of fairy tale mumbo jumbo but the lingering thought that perhaps it was all much more than fairy tales seemed to pull at her. Perhaps especially after Sariel and the oddity that he was. She gave Liv a smile and moved a bit closer, resting on hand on the other girl's waist. "God I could look into your eyes forever."

Liv supposed Vitani was right, neither of them would be paying very much attention to how the room looked. There was a bed, that was the important part. As the other woman approached, Liv was about to reach a hand out to her, until the redhead stopped and asked about the salt.
"In a lot of religions, salt represents purity. So demons can't touch it or cross it." By instinct, Liv double checked the barrier where Vitani touched it, adjusting a few grains. She may have a bit of OCD when it came to things like her protective barriers and weapons, that just came with being in the business for so many years. You learn not to overlook things or take them for granted.
Her attention was brought back away from the salt by the hand on her hip. Liv smiled as she closed the distance between them, draping her arms around Vitani's neck. "Flattery will get you everywhere." She finally leaned in for the first kiss.
Their lips met, and it tasted like cigarettes and cheap booze. Exactly the taste Liv liked. Vitani's lips were soft against hers, and her tongue poked out to tease the redhead's mouth open.

She was trying, really, really trying to take this slowly and not just shove Liv up against the nearest thing. Her fingers ran against the skin just above the waistline of Liv's pants, slipping under the fabric of her shirt just a bit as the distance between them began to disappear until Liv finally made that first move, their lips touching. Vitani moved one hand to the small of Liv's back and pulled her closer, as close as she could. Her heart moved to her throat, pounding faster as the taste of alcohol and cigarettes mixed with even more alcohol and cigarettes and the faint taste of strawberry chapstick from Liv's lips.
Vitani's mouth welcomed Liv's tongue, her own slipping beside it, not really being able to hold herself back much more. The redhead pushed Liv back a bit, pressing her against the wall behind them, careful not to hit her head or anything else. One hand still tracing against Liv's skin, the other sliding up her figure and brushing against her breast ever so lightly as her hand reached up, tangling in Liv's hair. She pressed against her, deepening the kiss.

Between the sheets, Liv was a very different person than her kick ass self, She liked to step back from the hard-shelled hunter persona and actually be a bit submissive. So she was more than happy to let Vitani push a pull her around for a bit. It satisfied her to let someone else be in control for a little while. Maybe because it was like a break from the heavy responsibility Liv felt rested on her shoulders. Like if she wasn't in control, she didn't have to worry about all the people out there that needed saving, or all the evil things out there that needed killing.
For whatever reason Liv chose to escape her mind for a while, Vitani turned out to be a damn good partner. After their rather lengthy sexcapades, Liv wasn't sure if her companion would be into cuddling. After all, this was supposed to be just a fling, but she kind of didn't want to never see Vitani again. Instead of pressing the issue though, the hunter laid on her side with her head rested in her hand and studied the redhead's various tattoos. Some of them she traced lightly with her fingertips, and felt the scars the ink concealed in a few places. Liv's own body was riddled with scars from numerous hunts; a few claw marks, a couple of bites, a knife wound, and even a bullet hole, all marring her pale skin. She had never really thought about covering them with tattoos because a) hardly anyone ever saw them, and b ) to her they represented experience and mistakes she had learned from.
But Liv knew that Vitani was no hunter, so her scars most likely came from something else. "You have a lot of ink. Any of it have any specific meanin'?"

Liv was just as amazing in bed as Vitani had thought she'd be. Tangling between the sheets with her, the hunter letting the redhead take control and keep it, it had been one of the best nights she'd had in a long time. Most people fought with her over who was going to be on top, so to speak, but the two of them fell into place right where they needed to be without much effort. It was a really strange feeling for Vitani, who usually laid there bored until it was over and swore never to do it again,. only to find herself in the same situation a few nights later. Either way, it was almost mind-blowing, and certainly sobering enough for the cage fighter to realize that perhaps, as strange as it seemed, that maybe she liked this girl more than she really wanted to let on. After all, they'd only just met. She closed her eyes, half cuddling up to the other girl's form, fingers twisting a lock of Liv's hair as Liv traced along her tattoos, before finally asking about them.
"Well.. not really." She said, shaking her head a bit. "Mostly they're just.. things I like. I wanted to cover up m'scars, and the ink did it well... so I just kept adding on." She shrugged, pushing some of Liv's hair behind her ear and giving her a smile. "You have a lot of scars. Comes with your line of work, I guess?" Her eyes trailed over Liv's skin, on hand going along it and tracing out a few of the scars that were in her line of sight before letting her hand rest on Liv's hip. "You're too pretty to be gettin' beat up by monsters, you know." She said, leaning forward and giving her a kiss, looking her face over some more with a small smile on her lips.

Strange as it seemed, the more time Liv spent with Vitani, the more she thought they were alike. In the short time they'd known each other, they'd fit together almost perfectly, like mirror images of each other. Both lonely, scarred, fighting whatever or whoever crossed their path. It was a little weird that Liv felt attached to Vitani already, especially when she'd been so careful to keep as few connections as she possibly could for so long.
The hunter nodded when Vitani asked about her scars, smiling just slightly at the soft gesture of having her hair tucked behind her ear. "Things don't always go accordin' to plan when you're fightin' somethin' that wants to eat or kill ya." She watched the redhead's fingers trace a few of the visible marks before it rested on her hip, and Liv covered the hand with her own. And the soft kiss after that was nice, making her smile widen marginally. "You're too pretty to be gettin' beat up, too, ya know." Her thumb lightly traced circles on the back of Vitani's hand.
