In the darkness I will be your guiding light
"We should go a round on that, yeah? I mean, if you want..Since you're obviously not going to fall for my womanly charms." Curiosity fell across Sariel’s expression as he wondered what charms she had been attempting to cast exactly, and how she knew they weren’t working on him. "Ah, bugger it. I'm doing it..you can go next!" A frown followed her as the nymph walked off, baffled by what she was doing, following after her to get a closer look at whatever she intended to do. The whole thing seemed peculiar, it made no sense and whatever reason could be behind the device she sat on as it appeared to toss her about was entirely beyond the seraph. Endurance? Maybe... Sariel stared, though as Gaiana was flung from the device, the angel took a step forward, considering to help had he not been distracted. He had been considering what Vitani may have had to say about sitting on such a thing, found himself reaching out to her with his own thoughts, not wishing to disturb her possible retreat, or her fighting if she was back at doing that... Only as Sariel had taken a step forward towards Gaiana, all that filled his mind was Vitani’s pained plea.
Someone stop him... Please... The words echoed inside the angels thoughts, not sure who ‘he’ was or what needed to be stopped, the pleading however was upsetting to hear, and as Gaiana spoke, Sariel looked at her with a vague blink. "Your turn, Sariel." Low key, that was what he needed to be, even Gaiana had said, certain actions would bring hunters to figure out what caused such oddities, Vitani sounded in need of help, desperation soaked her thoughts. For the briefest of moments Sariel watched Gaiana’s face, as if somehow she’d know the right thing to say, even though he hadn’t explained what upset him. Human’s died, that was a given, as an angel of death he had seen it many times, so why did the thought of her suffering upset him? When the angel did manage to speak, he sounded confused, an air of upset that was rarely on his tongue for a reason having anything to do with a human. "She’s only human." It was a statement, though clearly he was so caught up in his own internal dilemma that it hadn’t even occurred to the angel that the nymph would be at a loss as to what was going on in his mind. The angel’s brow knitted more in displeasure, confused by his own reaction to the hurt crippling Vitani’s mind, a tension easily seen in his jaw as muscles tightened and then as if losing an inner battle, the angel vanished, a flapping of feathery wings heard in that instance, a rush of air sounding with it and then silence left shortly after in his absence.
