I will begin at the beginning. Beginning at the end is far too confusing...

The jist of my plot ideas for Dean here are that he says yes to Michael. It's that simple. Only it isn't. Because playing a straight as an arrow angel doesn't come so easily to me, I like to play Dean being Dean, so here's the twist. Somehow - and I haven't figured out how yet - Dean is able to take control of Michael for long periods of time in order to carry on as normal, or at least as normal as one can be with an arch angel under your skin. Michael will only be able to take back control in times of - mostly demonic - danger, stepping in to protect his vessel when need be and occasionally to completely take over if there's a chance he can talk with other angels, namely Lucifer.

Throughout all of this I hope to, for a while at least, be able to let Dean keep it a secret that he has said yes, especially from Sam. Essentially Sam would find out by mistake in the middle of some major event where Michael would take the wheel and kick some major ass, leaving Dean to deal with the explanation afterwards.

I'm interested to hear what kind of ideas people have on this, or other possible plots to inspire me. Maybe there's a situation you have in mind that you'd like to see Dean get into, ideally something we haven't seen before on the show. Bare in mind I do only intend to run one plot at a time, though to be honest, that plan rarely works out.

I feel like there's something that Kaylynn and Dean could do. Even if it's just something quick.

Kaylynn's a prophet to the apocalypse and maybe she had seen say yes to Michael and is keeping it to himself. And there are a few things that she needs to be answered about herself, so maybe the two of them could get together, and Kaylynn could explain to Dean what she is and what she knows he did, and then Michael could give her some information?

xD I don't know. But I feel like an angel walking around on Earth and a prophet are bound to meet somehow. -shrug- Yes, no, ideas, or nothing at all is just finnneeee.

I decided I'd throw Dean into a thread with Sully - here - since they are familiar with each other and I think I may be able to work out the logistics of what's going on with Dean saying yes but not actually allowing Michael in just yet there. Still in the early stages of figuring out how this could work, so in theory Dean's next step would be to call Sam, Bobby or Castiel for advice, but then again, he also doesn't want any of them to know what he's just done, assuming he remembers. I expect Castiel would know right away beng as he is in fact part of the God squad.

I assume since Kaylynn's a prophet, she'd have her own guardian arch angel looking out for her, not that that would make any difference to her meeting up with Dean, but it may be information for use if Michael shows up when they're talking. If she's seen Dean in her prophecies, she may well know that he's basically just been drop kicked out of Heaven's waiting room, landing in the middle of the highway during a thunderstorm, dazed and confused about what's just happened. She could be hearing the angels talking about his last second backtrack or how they're hunting for him since he still bears the rib markings that keep him hidden from the angels. Gonna use my creative license here and play it as though they still work despite the fact Dean said yes, so unless Michael actually knows his location, he can't jump into his meat suit whenever he feels like it.

Like I said, still figuring out the plot bunnies, but keep the ideas coming.

Sooooo.... little bro Adam's back in town!

I'd love to see these guys in a thread; whether it be a hunt where Dean's trying to teach his lil' bro what not to do when out and about (take for example, trying to drill out some of those irritating habits of constant questioning that Sam has). If not something as major as a hunt, even just thread where these two set aside their differences in a little more depth? Some touchy-feely emotional stuff maybe, about John and Sam and brotherly love and ehhhh.... you get the jist of it. 'Cause according to the history my Adam has, the brothers and him are sort of tightly knit now - but there'll (at least for a while) still be that longing Winchester bred doubt and mistrust that Adam will have in them both considering they just came strolling back into his life after a good nineteen years.
These are just a few things that came to me, but whenever you're back to being able to post - let me know.

But more than that, there should be a good reason for it. She and Adam are likely going to be hunting together, and that may or may not be considered wise (or a good thing, depending on how Dean sees it). Anyway, with past history between Jo and Dean, it may be fun to have these two in a thread. She's still pretty inexperienced in the hunt, but not a total rube, so if he's all Micheal-possessed, she might be a good one to have in one of those 'oh god, you're possessed, what are you, a moron?!' kind of threads. She doesn't like possession of any kind, not after what happened to her with Sam. And knowing her, she wouldn't allow much BS to get past her.

Hey, son.

John's back. Or more like he never really left, as he's been trapped on earth as a spirit ever since he got out of hell. Various nefarious forces have been conspiring to keep him out of commission, but he's finally been able to harness his ghost-powers and now his spectral self is trying to track down his boys. 'cause John Winchester doesn't care if you're an archangel and he's just a ghost: you don't mess with his family.

Basically John's looking to go into vengeful papa mode. He doesn't know all the details specifically but he knows enough that both his boys are in big trouble with this apocalypse thing and he's going to do anything in his power to get them out. So I think a Dean and ghost!John reunion would be pretty awesome, and then... some stuff can happen. I don't know. I'm sure hell will be brought up. There can be bonding? It'll be very emotional. Alls I know right now is John's priority 1 is getting his boys out of this mess.

I reckon it's about time for a fresh start.

Thanks to cbox, I've realised playing Michael isn't so easy as I first though and while it's fun to have Dean able to show off with a few neat angel tricks now and then, it's not really him. Sure it's cool to smite a bitch one handed, but Dean is and always should remain human I think, with all the vulnerabilities that human's have. It makes him more of a big damn hero if he's battling with what God gave him rather than any added angel juice.

Plus I really can't be arsed to write up an ArchAngell!Dean profile....

So for the time being at least, I'm gonna put the Micheal plot to one side. It free's him up for if anyone wants to play him too. What I need now is something much simpler to get my teeth into, something that will give me an oppertunity to post with a few of you guys at once. Pretty sure most people on here would like to interact with Dean and if I stick to my one plot at a time plan, then there's gonna be a lot of disappointed folks out there waiting patiently for me to find some spare time.

Ideally, a thread with three of us in would be best. Too many people and you're waiting ages to post and lose interest. But again, this would only work with people who post at the same rate. It could be hit and miss whether it's genius or not. They key is finding the right plot.

I love playing Dean, he makes it easy for me when he's got such a complex character to him. There's no black and white, much as he'd like to think there is. He's muddy, capable of both great acts of bravery and kindness as well as shameful atrocities disguised as doing the right thing and trying to save the people he cares about. Bela was right when she said he was one step away from being a serial killer. It's only Sam that really keeps him from snapping completely.

I'd like a thread where I can explore both ends of the spectrum, but plotting too far in advance isn't really how I roll. Sure, a basic outline of where we're going is good, but I like to leave it open for changes, new ideas, different directions to go in if a good idea springs to mind.

Naturally, a good mystery hunt would be fun, however I have one set up with Sully in the flashback thread we have - which I fully intend to reply to by the way - so I would prefer something a little different for a present day thread. Don't wanna do the same old, same old thing of running into another character on a hunt and then ending up working with them on it. I'd also like to avoid bumping into anyone at a bar, been there, done that and since the world is vast and there are plenty of interesting places to set a thread, I reckon we can think outside the box for this one. Preferably, I'd avoid stuff that's already been covered on the show too. Those kinds of shennanigens are more fun for cbox, threads I like to be a little more original where possible.

I need to catch up with what everyone's already doing on the board, make sure I don't wind up suggesting something that other people aren't already playing out. Perhaps a good way of brain storming a plot would be to start with a good location. Somewhere that's got a lot of potential for detail like say a museum or a labrynth of underground sewers. The city garbage dump could be fun, or the slightly more glamorous setting of a pie factory. Some place we can start a story that will lead to more interesting situations later down the line.

And right now I feel like I'm rambling, so I'm gonna shut up now and go read some threads. Post whatever springs to mind, the more ideas we have, the better the end result.

Gabe & Dean-- So these two definitely should plot! What i'm thinking of now is this: Gabe is definitely hedging towards stopping this whole Apocalypse, prize fight between Michael and Lucifer. So i dunno what Dean's opinion on that is but if Dean is of the same opinion then they're not technically enemies. Gabriel generally likes Dean's style but is still more then eager to play a trick or two on him and is very keen to keep Sam, Dean and Cas from blabbing about his archangel identity to Heaven or anyone else. I'm completely open to any ideas you've got!

Hey there, since you've obviously had a looooot of time to be going around doing your thing, I figured I'd pop in here and see whether we can figure out a meet up for the guys. I had attempted to read through some of your threads just to get an idea where Dean stood at this point, ("Cas, Dean's a dog." Cas: I don't understand that reference..." - "No Cas, I mean, seriously - serious, he's a dog, fur and all." Cas: " *squints eyes a little confuzzled* ") but would prefer just having a bit of a plot out before he just magically poofs in front of a naked Dean, as amusing as that could be. XP

I am up for pretty much anything we can figure out, finding Dean through dream walking and communicating through there (though Dean will probably think it's not real without some physical proof lol), lurk around Bobby and crew till Dean or Sam surface, scour the globe till Cas finds Dean (or Sam), whatever tickles our fancy. Let me know whatever you're keen for and we'll work towards it (or generally just brain storm some ideas)!

So, Christian's been in the game for only two years. Maybe they ran into each other though his first year in? I'm actually making his sister, Nora, and looking for someone to have um..snuck one past him and slept with her while she was finishing high school in Savannah. She was 18, so legal and all, but since she's been on the road with brother dearest, he's been protective of her to the point that he doesn't often let her meet other hunters that aren't old men. lol So, likely if, once I make her and get her accepted, she were to see him again in brother's presence and he sensed that they knew each other before that meeting..well, it could be hilarious is all I'm saying. (her pb is to be Rachel Bilson, fyi)

Just thought I'd throw that out..but yah, I think aside from never allowing sister to meet them, they'd actually get along a bit.

First off, apologies for taking so long to notice that I actually have replies in here. Though with that in mind, you now at least have an idea of how often I actually reply to stuff. If you guys are looking for a thread that moves fast, I'm not the person to be talking to.

Okay, down to business. Since I've got two angels wanting to plot, what say we throw Dean, Cas and Gabriel all in the same thread together, that way I can kill two birds with one stone and not have two threads to try and keep up with. As far as what plot we can do, I'm open to suggestions. It's currently 3am where I am though so don't expect any genius ideas from me right now though I would go with something that's not connected to the current threads I have with Sully and Sastre, a seperate episode of the week if you will.

Christian, as a rule of thumb new characters don't have previous acquaintances with the canons, their relationships need to be developed in threads with the exception of other canon characters who have already met on the show. The idea of Dean having slept with someone in the past is a plausible one and if it weren't for the fact that I've had to decline the suggestion many times before, I would have gone with it. Practically speaking it's just not workable, I'd end up having met half the characters on the site considering how much of a player Dean is. I'm sure you understand.

I'm a gonna get back here if I can think up any ideas for them to meet. I really like the idea of him being uber protective of his little sister around Dean. =oP Though it does seem that he has his hands full with Hanson. hahahaha

Cas, Dean & Saving the Joker,

There is a plot line being put together in regards to Gabriel being snatched up and taken, most of this is partially explained in Castiel or Gabe’s plotter, but the general idea is that for a few days Gabe’ll be held captive before being dragged back up to Heaven.

The snatch & Grab:
The day it happens Castiel’ll would have left Dean a message stating they were in trouble and needed help, bring holy oil, type message, hoping Dean gets it in time. If you don’t want to involve Dean much, coz you’re really busy and all and I get that, you could maybe do a post or two for the end of the thread, even if it is all over, maybe Dean catches Sariel after Gabriel is taken off and Sariel tells dean to back off and stay clear or things will get unpleasant, then he poofs. Maybe no one is there and dean is like – eh? Whatever happens, I figure some sort of something would be good, even if we hash out a ‘behind the scene’ reason why Dean couldn’t help out, just so there is a reason when we look back why he wasn’t involved instead of just ‘wasn’t there’.

The Actual Rescuing Part:
This will be further down the track, so whether Dean is out of play for some reason that makes it physically impossible for him to assist or you find yourself having the time to get some posts done when this occurs, it is up to you. There are a couple of others involved, but obviously it would be nice to get the Winchesters there to help save Gabriel, and get some Team Free Will lovin’ underway. This takes place at least a week / week and a half after the current thread we have up. If you have any ideas, want to plot ways to fit Dean into the finale where others are sort of gathering together for their attack, or if you want to discuss ways to make it logical for why dean can’t be there, I am all ears, and totally willing to help brain storm, when you have time.

Right, while I have a shred of sanity about me, let's get some planning done.

Can we work the snatch and grab of Gabriel into the end of the thread we have going at the moment, or have you guys already started that somewhere else? On a side note, I don't remember what we had planned for that thread, or even if we'd thought that far ahead so....*makes mental note to pay more attention*

I don't know if it would make more sense for Dean to want to be involved if he see's it happen or not but at this point, if Castiel needs his help, he'll damn well try and help him. Not entirely sure how he would be of use considering he lacks all the powers that Cas has, but maybe that's exactly why he's of use. He's not restricted by enochian sigils or vulnerable to banishment, yadda yadda. Plus, he's Dean. If you need a distracting piece of bait, then he's always your guy. I don't get much chance to banter with the bad guys these days, it would be my pleasure to annoy the villain of the piece with some snarky back chat.

I should really go check out what you've got up on your plotter so this will make more sense in my head. Hopefully, once I get the next couple of weeks at work out of the way, I can relax and throw myself back into epic posting again. \o/

Cas, Dean & Saving the Joker,

I know you are having trouble with threads and getting time to post, unfortunately the Dean, Gabe and Cas one currently is before the war plot for Gabe and Cas, and the Sariel plot line is afterwards. So that makes it a bit too awkward to adjust things. We haven't started either the first meeting with Sariel or the second where he nabs up Gabe, smacks Cas around and then waddles off cackling cockily. So I can imagine it'd give you some times between now and then, just don't know if it'd be enough time for you to close this current active thread we have, might be, maybe.

Cas & Dean,

As far as I remember we were basically doing it as a 'heeeey, I'm alive' thread, so we can keep it short enough, Gabe was there because we wanted to introduce Gabe to Team Free Will, basically, and instead of doing a Cas and Dean, as well as a Dean and Gabe thread, you merged those two. So we could do a quick delve into bringing Gabe into the team, sort of thing and how Dean feels about that, and maybe wrap it up after that.
