I saw there was nothing posted here.
So, what are your goals? My goal is to participate in the NaNoWriMo this year. This is the first time for me. We'll see how it goes. I have no topic in mind at this very moment, so, I guess I should brainstorm. My goal is also to write 50k words too. Very big for me. Well, that's me. What about you? Oh, I also need to finish assignment 11 too. |

That is a good goal, I did NaNo two years ago and found it to be very rewarding.

I post my weekly to-do list in the Elevator section under Pencil Pushing Car, which are always tied into my goals.
Short term I want to participate in NaNoWriMo this year and still manage to have a happy, healthy and stree-free Christmas season. I am also attending a writer's conference next month. Longer term I want to edit my NaNoWriMo project by the first or second quarter of 2010 and submit it to RV Publishing or another publisher. I also want to increase the number of virtual book tours per month to between 8 to 10 and hopefully still keep writing and submitting my own stuff. CC -------------------- The Book Connection Blog

Galas are also no fun
 Fine. Keep your secrets, but I'll share mine!My goal is to finish my novel - I think it's on the third draft now, but for as much as I've changed the main plot and story arc it may as well be draft one again. I have no time deadline; I've realized with this particular project it doesn't work for me. There's still so much I have to uncover and world build, slowly putting all the pieces together. I'm like the slow moving train chugging up the steep hill...eventually I will get to the top! Hmm...that reminds me of my Grand Master's analogy - our goal is to get up to the top of the mountain. It doesn't matter how long you take, as long as you get to the top. Actually, Nano is what put me and this story on the mountain - back in 2005 I think..?? Long time ago, a lot's happened in between, story put on the back burner, but the story has grown and I've grown as a writer. Awesome goals. I hope to accomplish just the few I mentioned earlier. If I do, that will be saying a lot for me. I've been a freshmen long enough.
