At this point, I would just take something like Harrisburg has. Bleachers, grass, no american football lines, beer in stadium. I don't ask for much.

being as realistic as possible - how much would something like that cost? 100k tops?

that's like 3 seasons rent at CVHS

I would venture to guess a lot more then 100K. The stores that we design are pretty basic. Painted floor, painted walls no ceiling. They can cost up to 150K. I would have to venture a guess at 650K? you will probably spend 100K alone on design fees.

do they really need a "design" for something like that? maybe you could help them out for season tickets

land aside, to sub contract it all yourself you could save a LOT of cash

Quick breakdown:

Landscape architect: $30K
Engineer: $30K
Architect: $30K

This is based on building a natural turf field with an irrigation system (landscape arch and engineer) $150K?. A small service building housing restrooms, Hounds gear vendor, concession, locker rooms (Arch and Engineer) $250K?. Parking lot, Bleachers, fencing, lights, municipality arguments, licenses $100K?

total thats about $590K. It adds up real quick.

BTW I don't do graphic design. I do interior design/architecture.

HeEr pl0x!!! Kthxbai.

My hometown. We could just change the Pac Bell office bldg. on the far right, and make it Pac Bell Stadium. And market to Pittsburgh expats.

Y'all can commute, can't you?

And you didn't even mention the cost of the land itself and our god forsaken Allegheny County property taxes

I would guess nothing less than a couple million. I know our facility is well over that, which is still undergoing construction.

i realize now that I am way off base on costs, but I also realize how over the top a lot of these expenses are...I am used to working with contractors, renting equipment and doing what I can myself so I can keep costs down on projects, but yeah, looks like it'd be a lot more than 100k

Small covered grandstands up each touchline, maybe small terricing behind the goals.

Something like what you see in the Blue Square Premier League.

San Jose is rumored to be getting real covered grandstands, not the mini ones you see all over the mls.
