Okay - so I was at the pirates game the other day - and I was thinking - how would it be if the steel army showed upto a game - all kitted out - and just went absolutely mental like we do at matches...
show the yanks what real football is about... |

I've often thought about that. It just needs a group of people to start it and see where it goes. I just don't know how that transcends into a sport like baseball with all the downtime. I doubt they'd let us in with drums and such as well.
In fact the only othjer sport I can see if working with is basketball. |

I think this would be alot of fun,, though I could definitely see us getting escorted out of the venue for the Pens for the Pirates... Xplosion though.. we could definitley get away with. To expand on the idea though, what about going to a Pittsburgh Banshees game and doing our thing? I bet they would get a kick out of it |

I'm not too keen to go to any of these games mentioned, especially the Pirates...we would never be allowed to take drums into a Pens game
who are the Banshee again? |

We'd never get enough tickets together for a Pens game either.

i got an email for pens pre-season tickets. it seems all that is available is SRO or limited view.
plus, pre-season tickets cost as much as regular season tickets. not worth it, imo. |

The ISA idea would not work at a Pirates game. Last year, I went to a Skyblast game and I took my red horn and I got a lot of heat from security. I only blew it occassionaly during home runs. So, I don't think it would be a good idea. |

it would be interesting to try it at the last Pirates game of the season, when there would only be like 5,000 people there

And you can forget about flags alltogether. Alot of the clubs from the big 4 (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL) just want your money and your butts in a seat...heck all they want really is your money. I have seen flags a few times at games but I think it was by special request or the club furnished the fans with flags....like the Gree Narmy. :D |

Link to a picture on flicker (Posted Image) The a's also had drummers in left field thay started out as a group of kids that had season tickets but after a year or two the team started buying them playoff tickets and shit. the songs were all very simple chants but it did provide a fun atmosphere especially the fuck the yankees chants that you would always hear on espn. |
