There are 176 of us here at Sprintzone. Yet we see maybe...hmmm?....15 or so actually getting involved. Why is that? Apparently you lurkers are into speed, or ya wouldn't be out there in the shadows. Why not jump in and join the party. Look all this.."oh yeah, well yo mama.."...means absolutely...0..ok? We simply play a little rough..ok? We've been doing that for years, no big deal at all. So can I get just one of you to come out from behind the curtain and become a "real" member of the best board of this type on the net? Trust me we have the best "speed freaks" on the net right here. So how about it? How about taking the plunge today, trust me, years from now when you look back on your maiden voyage into Sprintzoneville you'll thank me for giving ya that little push. If it's me and my Brutalistic ways scaring ya, it's all for show, I'm actually a little sweetheart tongue.gif

...and Brutal and I really do sing blues on the weekend. laugh.gif

Great opportunity to prove a point.

reddy didn't I say forget that silly little bet? (yet ya stood tall) I wanted to shine it because I missed ya. We need guys like you here. Yep guys who do something, somebody not afraid to wallow around in the guts the blood and the beer. Sure we battle, personally I enjoy the joust. I 'd rather do that than....butt slaps all around tongue.gif No not going to say.."let's be buddies reddy..ok"..the reason being we already are.

I lurk this board because I'm outclassed. I can beat up on letsrunners and compete with boldonites, but the people on sprintzone are just better fans than I am. It would be different if I was still running.

Definition: Nothing will change. This is not a friendly place for new people. Brutal, will just tell us to "scram" and everyone else will delight in the carnage. Well, Enjoy! Your social therapy hour on the net has been quite refreshing and full of humour. I'm an avid reader and a knowledgeable fan of the sport.

Position:
There are some of us out here who think for a living and would like to post in a place where multiple topics such as the ones listed here are discussed. I can't reply constantly to people with a caustic manner who may not be have all the knowledge or debate skills to keep it fluid and entertaining for the other readers. Then we all look like fools. Even the board itself.

Unfortunately, I often leave not feeling that the topic was discussed, only in digust.I'm surprised at how some can go round after round and hash this stuff out. Solid evidence will be placed forth and rarely a shift in position will be gained. I'm not sayin that by and large there aren't strong and capable minds here(or why would I read?) capable of an occasional fence jump, it's just the the slings and arrows directed at others by self appointed experts.

As John Wayne said, and Brutal has relentlessly exploited, "There ain't enough room in this town for both of us", "Let's start by picking on the weak and uninitiated. And you wonder why we don't post? Ye, Brutal, I agree, "Why the Wicked, So Strong?"

On the positive side, it is refreshing to see you guys challenginging yourelves to care, with warm affection and an invitation to all us us newbies, for a walkthrough your parlour.

Sadly for now, unto this counsel I shall close heart, and ear and eye, and quote:

"The Lobster Quadrille "

"Will you walk a little faster?" said a whiting to a snail.
"There's a porpoise close behind us, and he's treading on my tail.
See how eagerly the lobsters and the turtles all advance!
They are waiting on the shingle - will you come and join the dance?
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance?
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance?

"You can really have no notion how delightful it will be
When they take us up and throw us, with the lobsters, out to sea!"
But the snail replied "Too far, too far!" and gave a look askance -
Said he thanked the whiting kindly, but he would not join the dance.
Would not, could not, would not, could not, would not join the dance.
Would not, could not, would not, could not, could not join the dance.

"What matters it how far we go?" his scaly friend replied.
"There is another shore, you know, upon the other side.
The further off from England the nearer is to France -
Then turn not pale, beloved snail, but come and join the dance.
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, will you join the dance?
Will you, won't you, will you, won't you, won't you join the dance?"

-- Lewis Carroll

I'm bidding you good morning now now, I'll call another Day.

Brutal, there are a thousand "reddy's" on the internet...there is only one Brutal!! wink.gif And, you are right, this is more like a dimly lit bar, with all the regulars knowing their "role". So, just because someone breaks a chair across you back does not mean that you can't cut the next guy with a broken bottle (figuratively speaking, of course laugh.gif )...

I think we all bring something unique to the table, that's not the problem. The problem is not enought participation from our members. To few of us actually involved.
