MAdam Spear was sitting on the Blazing Tree. Her eyes rotated fast. When would the called "doom" appear to Madam Spear? She realized she was thinking in third person. She couldn't believe that she would be badly hurt, or die!!!! She need to protect herself, but fate had to have her be doomed!!!! That web reader could tell the future for her. She took a deep breath.

Wanderyb was bored. Bored, bored, bored.
So bored, he didn't notice Madam Spear perching calmly a few wingbeats away. In fact, he barely noticed until--
BAM!
Head-on, Wanderyb had hit the other owl, and to his great surprise he could only clack his beak in a kind of "I-wish-I-hadn't-done-that" fashion. "Er..." he said in a gnarled hoot. "How're you doing, Madam?"

Madam Spear let out a quiet churr. "Fine, a bit nervous," she replied. "And please, I go by Spear. How are you?" She smiled at Wanderyb. She wondered where he had been going? He seemed in a hurry when he bumped into her.

"Greetings, Queen Nora," Wanderyb rasped in greeting. He too had snatched a nice fat, toasted vole and was going to eat it before she had come. The smell from the meat was irresistable.

Spear chuckled innerly at the way Wanderyb was observing his vole. Spear gave a friendly nod to Nora-she had been in the Fire Tree for a long time, and had known the King and Queen for a while.
"you may eat"nora chukled as she saw the way Wanderby was looking at his vole. Nora bowed in greeting to Spear. "So what is the news of today"She hooed as she looked at spear her eye's soft and freindly.
