Pandemonium and chaos in the courtroom as a couple of huge bats fly in!
 An observer in the courtroom, having smuggled in a camera, snaps pictures.  In a cloud of red smoke the bats transform into the missing woman, Candida Menendez, and Duke Sidewalker, private investigator.  Dr. Sparrow, in a fury, leaps from his chair and smacks the woman before anyone can stop him.  Judge Volker shakes his head then dismisses the case.  Dr. Sparrow is a free man.
