The Sons and Daughters of Zaire and Castor Nova

Xander Nova is the family rock. As the adoptive father of three very different and difficult boys he's had his hands full, but he's never too busy to support his siblings through whatever crisis befalls them. Xander came out in high school and fell in love with Orlando Centowski in college. They've been together ever since. Xander was a stay at home dad for a while but has since become a professional athlete.

Xander and Orlando have moved in with their oldest son, Dante, and his wife Stella, to help raise their brood of four children, for which Stella will be eternally grateful. They are considering retiring soon and starting a home business. Xander and Orlando are now ghosts, peacefully haunting the new home Stella and Dante share with their granddaughter Emily and her husband Matthew Hourvitz.

Ariel Nova Delacroix, like her mother, is a brilliant scientist, but her interests lie in the paranormal and natural sciences. She is wise about everyone's problems except her own. She fell in and out of love and back again with the vampire who is now her husband, even though he made her a vampire herself against her will. Ariel has since changed back. She has a daughter and is struggling with the fact that her husband, recently abducted by aliens, has presented her with another.

Ariel is now a mad scientist, and was briefly a vampire again, but she, and Raj, are now human once more. They are the parents of a son, Jax, who is in college. They share their house with two servos, Renata and Horatio.

Alec Nova is a hotheaded romantic. He had his heart broken in college when his girlfriend Skye was bitten by Raj and became a different person. A vampire named Jordan helped him to heal, and now she is human again, and his wife. But the restlessness never quite left Alec, even though he doesn't do anything about it. He stays home with his two daughters and plans to open his own restaurant some day.

Alec's daughters have grown, and now he and Jordan live with their eldest daughter Piper, her wife Vyn Hourvitz and their three children in a lovely home in the country. Alec owns a bakery, which is situated in the front yard.

Xena Nova Kane hates the fact that her name sounds like a pharmeceutical, but she married Porter Kane anyway. She was a flirt in high school, a player in college, and never planned to settle down at all. She and Porter had a rocky beginning to their romance, to say the least. Xena has followed in her grandmother's footsteps and is now a Simmywood icon, like Lola. She is the mother of Selena and the stepmother of Mallory and finds to her surprise that she likes motherhood, and loves being married to the love of her life.

Xena and Porter, having raised their children, decided to become vampires rather than getting old and are currently having the time of their lives.

Xanthe Nova Longman is the youngest Nova by quite a bit. She was a bit flighty in college, unable to decide on a boyfriend, and why should she? She's young. But then she met Walter Longman, and fell hard for him, and now they're engaged. Xanthe lives next door to Xena and Porter now that she's graduated from college. She's a paranormalist who may or may not be psychic. She's waiting for Walter to graduate so they can be married, but he can take his time, she's in no rush.

Xanthe and Walter are married now and the owners of Flowers N Such in Bluewater Village. They have one daughter, Samantha, and twin sons named Malcolm and Marco. Samantha, or Sam, and her ex-husband Henry have two children, Ellis and Alexandra du Maurier.

The Sim-nificant others of the Nova Clan

Orlando Centowski Nova is married to Xander. He's a Swat Team Leader, a loving husband, and the "enforcer" with their two youngest boys. He makes friends easily and is still happy he married his college sweetheart. Orlando has now passed away and is haunting the home of his son Dante and his wife Stella.

Raj Delacroix is a very old vampire who woke from a deep sleep with the intent of causing trouble. Instead he fell in love and realized that his human side wasn't as buried as he'd thought. It took having his heart broken to make him realize he had one, and Raj turned over a new leaf when Ariel asked him to marry her. He's very interested in science and has befriended his father-in-law, Castor. His recent alien baby is a source of fascination for him, though he also loves her very much. He's a good father to both of his daughters and happy and grateful to have Ariel in his life at last.

Raj turned human again to be with Ariel, who was unhappy as a vampire. He's excited to finally be able to work at a real job.

Jordan Kane Nova is a sweet person despite having been a vampire, or maybe because of it. She realizes what's important in life and doesn't fuss too much about what isn't. She's an amazingly forgiving person, a loving mother, and very much in love with her husband Alec. Jordan's a Swat Team Leader, not a job she thought she'd ever have, but being on the police force makes her happy because she knows she's helping others to be safe.

Jordan is a superhero, and an elder, and everyone's favorite grandmother.

Porter Kane is Jordan Nova's brother, her opposite in many ways. He was a vampire for a very long time and found the courage to turn back only recently. He locked himself away from the world, denying his darker vampire side and own passionate nature until he was enticed into biting a woman he was seeing at the time, Solange Bonet. It took Porter a long time to work his way back from his darker self, but now he is happily married to Xena and the father of two children. He is an exorcist who loves his job.

And now that his children are grown he and Xena decided to become vampires together.

Walter Longman is a history major who plans to become a leader. He's strong, decisive and even-tempered, in short his fiancee's complete opposite. He can't wait to finish college and start his life with her. Walter has a twin brother, George.

Walter is a business owner. He recently bought Flowers n' Things and hopes to build it into an empire.

Spike and London's son and daughters-in-law

As the brilliant overachieving son of a pair of vampires, Apollo du Maurier has had an interesting life, perhaps so much so that all he wanted was to be "normal" when he grew up. He plans to be a doctor someday but right now is enjoying his status at the top of the athletic career. In college he was briefly engaged to Allegra Gorey, who left him for Jane Stacks. Apollo realized that he and Allegra were too much alike, and ended up marrying a woman who is nothing like him, a decision he has come to regret.

Skye Harker du Maurier has always been shy and a little rebellious. She fell in love with Alec Nova in college, but just as he was about to propose she was bitten by Raj Delacroix, who then asked her to marry him. Flattered, she accepted, breaking Alec's heart. As a vampire Skye felt free to act on her impulses. People thought she was crazy or just a bit daft. She bit Alec when he tried to rescue her, and after that he fell in love with someone new. Skye has since broken up with Raj, turned human again and for a long time enjoyed her marriage to Apollo, but lately has grown restless and dissastisfied. Everyone she knows seems to have a happy marriage but her. She resents Apollo for treating her like a child, and yet can never seem to quite grow up, either.

The couple have one son, Max.

Apollo and Skye are now divorced. Skye has decided she's had enough of the married life and is living in the tenement building in downtown Porta de Luca. Apollo found a new love, Sylvie.

Apollo is now a ghost.

Sylvie Wilde du Maurier fell in love with Apollo while she was still in college. She's a smart, no nonsense person who never thought she'd find Mr. Right, and while she's sad that that meant someone else had to get hurt she's very happy she's found him.

Sylvie and Apollo are the parents of twins, Raven and Holden.

Sylvie is now an elder.

I should probably mention that the Phoenix clan has a long tradition of being vampire hunters, with one member usually chosen for the job. When Lola died this job fell to Xena, but she has decided to share it with her siblings and cousin.

The vampire hunters don't so much slay vampires anymore as make sure they behave themselves.

Beverly Patterson is the member of the "vampire observation council" sent to keep an eye on things in Porta de Luca. She has a beauty salon as a cover and because she enjoys it.
