Zaire Andrews Nova is an elder at this posting. She and her husband Castor have five children. They are a sweet couple who have never cheated on each other, or even dreamed of doing so, although they've had their share of disagreements. Zaire is a brilliant scientist and a good mother, despite the fact that she locked herself in the bathroom when she found out she was pregnant for the fifth time. She wanted to be a vampire at one point but is glad she has the life she does. Castor is a former frat boy turned Mad Scientist who is still completely in love with the woman he married. They live in a house with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Zaire and Castor have moved to Bluewater Village, where they share a lovely small pink manor with their granddaughter Olivia and her husband, David Sullivan. Castor is a retired mad scientist who builds robots and Zaire is still working as a scientist. They hope for a great-grandchild to share their home soon.

Zaire and Castor are now ghosts, haunting the property of the new home they bought with David and Olivia. Zaire was 80 when she died a day after Castor, who was 78. Castor's a peaceful ghost; Zaire, not so much.

London Andrews du Maurier is Zaire's adopted younger sister, and let's just say that getting married was never something she wanted. Still, fate has a way of deciding things for us, and tough girl London found herself head over heels for bad boy romantic, Spike du Maurier. He made her a vampire, she made him a father, they decided to make it legal. They're still young-looking, pretty and in love, and have even given up cheating on each other.
