The Veronaville Times
The Dish All the gossip that's fit to print Well, darlings, so much has happened since my last column I don't know where to begin. Our new governor's at the top of the list, such a popular favorite and a breath of fresh air after our philandering, stiff necked Governor Capp. (Oh, did I say that out loud? I mean, allegedly philandering, of course, darlings.) Little Daniel is such an adorable child, and our new first lady is fast becoming known for her acts of charity, even with a new little son to care for. Yes, folks, I'm happy to be the first to announce the arrival of a new little prince, Jeremy Thompson. I hear tell he's a blondie, like his mum. How adorable can you get? Oops, did I say prince? Well, why not? Our governor is royalty after all. To just call him governor seems so, I don't know, deflated, now that we have a royal family again. Who's with me? I for one long for the pomp and ceremony of honest to gosh royalty. And the vampires haven't said boo since he was elected. They're all trembling in fear is what I think, hiding in their little hidey holes now that we have a strongly anti-undead policy in place. I hear Vamp-Away has come up with a new formula to hide that awful garlic taste, so make sure you stock up on some for your little ones today. Just in case, darlings. Can't be too careful. And speaking of monsters, I heard a rumor that there might be a werewolf in town. Now that our prince has squashed the vampires, mightn't he turn his attention to this new menace? Makes me shiver just to think about it. In other news, the new Club Shakespeare is the latest on the scene, and oh so chic. Do go and check it out when you have a chance. Everyone who is anyone will be there. Makes me almost glad they demolished the old one. It was so drafty, darlings. Well, ciao for now, my lovelies. I suspect old Lola will be changing her tune before this is all over...Problem ism I'm thinking it will get a whole lot worse before it gets better, this being Veronaville!

As if. I'm so happy for Richard and Eva (Rowan is adorable!), and Milo and Eliza (Cam's absolutely darling! She's going to have her mother AND her father's good looks.) I feel sorry for Declan. Imagine having to stab your own sister... and Sinead doesn't sound like a nice fleshy. If I were her, I'd run off and get bitten again if I was that desperate -- or can you only become a vampire once in your story? -------------------- |

To make sure things don't get confusing I am ending this story here. But never fear, it will continue shortly with a new chapter in the lives of the citizens of Veronaville.
Stay tuned! -------------------- |
