Title: The All In One Game
Description: A-Z - 3,4,5 (last>1st) - associative

Mirelly - January 21, 2008 12:14 AM (GMT)
Lynet suggested that the alliterative alphabet game was tough, so I thought I would breathe life into an idea I had a while back.

The rules are simple :P
  • First letter of each post follows the A-Z rule
  • Posts must follow the 3 word, 4 word, 5 word, 4 word, 3 word sequence
  • Words in posts must begin with the same letter that the preceeding word (in the same post) ended
  • Finally the associative thing: Each post must make some sort of associative connection with the post above it.

So ... I'll kick off, shall I?

Authors spell libel

Careful librarian never reads suggestively

(Go on stretch your wordsmithery :P)

Dreadful reading kills people?

(Did I do it right? Not sure I got everything.. Too many ruleses! :P)

Surprised_by_Witches - January 21, 2008 04:22 PM (GMT)
Egregious syntaxing gaffs slay young girl

I have no idea how to play this game, either. Is that anywhere near correct? And yes, I know syntaxing is probably not a word but you try using a word starting with X.

Mirelly - January 21, 2008 06:43 PM (GMT)
LOL, SB, that was six words when 3 were needed. But all the other rules were followed. Muffin, met all the all the rules except beginning the next word with the last letter of the previous one ....

So, we're at F, eh?

Fishermen never read (taking an alternate meaning from SB's gaff ;) )

(And if Lynet doesn't stop complaining that this is is hard I will add an additional rule that all her posts must be palindromic. :dies: )

Gigantic Cuskeel lingers stoutly

A Cuskeel is a fish found off the Atlantic coast of Africa, by the way. ;)

Hoping gaff falls

(See, I didn't even realize this game was alphabetical. I was going by the last letter of the previous post. The fact that it was alphabetical was purely accidental.

This game is NOT simple at all, unless you have a devilishly twisted mind.)

Huh?

I really don't understand rule no. 3 ... I don't see anyone ending their words with the next letter that follows. Or are they? I'm confused.

OK, I'm just going to try to roll with this. This is what the janitor is thinking while he's cleaning up the skull leakage...

Kids are too messy!

(Yeah, yeah, lame.)
