Lorelei was the middle child of Tybalt and Elinor Capp. She was a sweet tempered, selfless healer and witch who died saving the lives of countless others when she threw herself in front of an attack during the war to overthrow Gary Thompson.

Lorelei saved the town once before, while she was in college, by offering herself as a sacrifice if death would spare the lives of all who had died in the vampire wars. Death married her instead, and she became Mrs. Adriel Yama.

She and Adriel were very much in love and had five children:

Najima Yama is adopted.

Takeo Yama is adopted.
Kai Yama is not.
Zuli Yama is adopted.

Lorelei has two siblings, Fiona Capp Patrick and Alexander Capp.
