What if the NBA made the hoop a half inch wider? How much do you think it would effect the scoring numbers? It's not much but everything close before would be in.

Random guess is that it could affect how people dunk since the rim is out longer. Also they might have to have people that own regulation hoops switch, since it wouldnt be a regulation hoop. I doubt the second thing, but I think the shot percentage's of some players might increase by taking advantage of it.
