yes plain and simple he is overrated. He gets all this hype from his brother and Dad but he sucks. I am glad Madden finally got it right with him

What do you think?

I actually think that his dad and his brother makes him look worse that he really is. I mean, you make it to the playoffs or something like that, but your brother wins the Super Bowl. That overshadows your accomplishments.

I mean, its really a no win situation for Eli.

Eli just doesn't have the confidence or consistency to be a great QB in the NFL.

He would have a lot more confidence if people look at the positive things he's done. Instead their like, "Your brother won a Super Bowl, why can't you?"

All I'm saying is that if he had the players around him that Peyton had, he'd be just as good as his brother.

Peyton's success makes Eli look like the black sheep of the family because he's not doing as great. Eli can't handle that pressure. His recievers are good, but not stellar.

With Tiki retiring, his running game went out the window. And his defense is aging quickly.

All in all, Eli's a decent player, although a streaky one.

His running game wasn't really that bad before Jacobs and Ward got hurt

But I don't think he is overrated at all. If anything he is kindof underrated because like ChicagoBearsFan said, people always compare him 2 his brother and dad which is really unfair. If his name wasn't Manning, he would be considered an average quarterback, but because his brother is a future hall of famer, he was a number 1 pick and had expectations to be just as good as Peyton which he reallisticlly never could have met

He is 100% overrated. The only reason he "shines" is because of his last name. It's a wonder what a last name can do.

Once you look at his stats/performance of this year sometimes you'll wonder why he is a starting QB and not a 2nd string one!

eli is terrible in my opinion so far he is nothing like his brother, but he still has more time to improve maybe its not him that is so bad maybe its his team.

Hate to break it to you guys, but Eli Manning is not overrated. Most NFL fans think he is a joke, and he really isn't that good. But overrated, no.

Just for your information bro, Tiki Barber completely *censored*ed up last year. He announced he was retiring in the middle of the season and caused a great distraction that really *censored*ed them in the a the a the whole year. (lol at me cursing when I study I am in this mood)

I agree with what some other person said: Eli get's the credit he deserves, which is none. It is that simple. Eli is a below average QB, regardless of his last name, or anything else for that matter.
Eli is a very overrated QB, and I actually think his brother is overrated as well, but that is another story.
