“The greatest object in the universe, says a certain philosopher, is a good man struggling with adversity; yet there is still a greater, which is the good man who comes to relieve it.”--Oliver Goldsmith

Rose wandered into the coffee place, itching for a hot drink. It was starting to cool down outside, and there was nothing more pleasant than a nice cup f tea. She couldn't remember when she'd last had one! With the Doctor (her Doctor) and the Master getting on like a house on fire, babbling at a mile a minute, shed been feeling not a lttle left out. And when you've got nothing else to do, where else would you go but the mall. She didn't know why she was feeling quite so down. She'd found her Doctor! But, then again, it hadn't been all she was hoping for. There was just...oh, she didn't know. You're being stupid she told herself as she ordered and sat down with the steaming cup of tea. Too long by yourself more like. Give it a chance And give him a chance to get over finding another time lord. That was a pretty damn big thing.
She was lost in these thought, which is why she jumped a foot as someone bumped into the table.

Rose needed clothes. She was, after all, a normal woman, and after buying everything that the Master had deemed 'essential' last week, Rose was now looking forward to indulging herself in some serious retail therapy without him peering over her shoulder, asking why on Earth she needed two new pairs of jeans when she only had two legs, or other stupid 'man' questions. No, she was armed with an everlasting supply of money, and she was going to spend, spend, spend!
Once she actually saw Queen's Arcade, though, she realised that she had been sorely mislead: this place wasn't just a good place to shop, it was shopping heaven! She immeadiatly ran inside the nearest clothes store and began grabbing clothes off hangers left, right and centre, emerging about an hour later weighed down with as many bags as she could carry. After all that, she decided, I need tea.
Walking into the Coffee Place, however, was anything but relaxing. "What the hell?" She muttered, her eyes wide and her mouth hanging open. There, sat at a table sipping tea, was Rose's exact double. Not just a pretty blonde girl who looked a bit like her, but identical down to the last freckle on her nose. Rose was so busy gawping that she didn't realise that she was slowly making her way over to the girl until she bumped into the table: "Ow, Bl..." She realised that she was getting funny looks off other customers, and she quickly dropped into the empty seat. "Shush, we're sisters, right? That's our story. Where are you from? A parallel universe? I'm Rose, by the way."

Rose looked up, annoyed at whoever had bumbed her table, spilling the tea all over the saucer. However, any smart remark was bitten off as she saw the culprit. It was her. "Crap." she muttered as the blonde sat down and introduced herself. "Twins, I'd say. I'm...well, I'm Rose. As well. I take it you've not talked to the Master yet then?" she asked. Wasn't there supposed to be a big paradox thing happening now that they'd met. The one where the world fell into itself, or something along those lines anyway. The Master must of been wrong, and the lack of a global catastrophy wasn't exactly going to upset her. "I don't actually think we were supposed to meet up. He didn't seem so keen on it. Can't beat fate thought." she added, looking around and aiming a glare at an deeply intrugied elderly couple on the the next table. "Should we continue this conversation somewhere a little..." she looked around again. "Well, more private?"
