He walked down the stairs as the TARDIS was moving in time and space and he cracked his knuckles a bit.

“Okay,” the Eleventh said as he flipped some buttons, “It’s been a long time since I’ve piloted this thing on manual.”

The Eleventh looked at the large tube thing in front of the TARDIS console and he pressed one circular button, “Let’s see if I got it.”

The Eleventh fidgeted his fingers a bit and he pulled down a lever and the whole of the TARDIS began to shake as if there was an earthquake.

“Wrong lever!” the Eleventh said as he suddenly fell to the floor as the TARDIS shook more and he crept his way towards the edge of the TARDIS console and he flicked on a button, “Come on!”

The Doctor punched the console and a whirring sound was heard. The Doctor suddenly levitated off the ground together with the other miscellaneous things in the room. The TARDIS kept shaking and the Doctor ‘swam’ his way towards the console and he managed to grab a lever. He flipped in mid-air and kicked the lever down. The TARDIS stopped from shaking and crashed somewhere in time and space. The Doctor stood up and he wiped off the dust of his suit. The Doctor looked at the console and he said, “Looks like I’m still rusty.”

The Doctor looked at the LCD screen on the TARDIS console and he raised his eyebrows, "Ahh Cardiff! And on top of the Rift too! Better start up the charging process."

The Doctor pressed a button and he heard a beep from the LCD screen, "What do you mean by the Rift Energy is not compatible? That's impossible. We're in Cardiff and..."

The Doctor ran out of the TARDIS and he looked at the skies, "Oh you must be joking me."

The Doctor saw zepellins travelling at the skies and he said, "I can't believe this!"

The Doctor ran back into the TARDIS and he began pulling down levers and pressing buttons, "Come on, come on. Let's get back at the real thing."

Sparks suddenly appear and the impacts of the sparks on the Doctor was so strong that he was hurled out of the TARDIS. The TARDIS locked its doors on the Doctor, who was banging on the door, "No, no, no, no, no! Don't do this to me. I swear I will pilot you manually and safely next time."

Passerbys looked at the Doctor, who suddenly moved away from the blue police call box and he said, "Oh hello! I'm just rehearsing for my play you know. Involves a door and my supposed lady love locking me out. Hehehe."

The passerbys shrugged and the Doctor walked back to his TARDIS and whispered, "I'm going to be roaming around and when I come back, we're best of friends now okay?"

The Doctor walked away from the TARDIS and he pocketed his hands, "Hate it when she goes sentimental over me."

Rose was torn.
She knew she should go and apoligise to the Master. Aftr all, he was right. The Doctor was bad news. She knew that for certain now. He was very bad news. Extremely bad news. She never wanted anything to do with him again. Not that Doctor anyway. For the hundredth time, she wished the London Torchwood of her universe had gotten right, gotten her back in the right universe. How she missed her Doctor. She pushed this out of her mind. Not for the first time, she told herself that there was no point dwelling on it.

She would go and apologise if it wasn't for her damn stubborn pride getting in the way. She wasn't all-righteous, and she knew she wasn't always right, but she didn't like to admit she was wrong. Did anyone? But she had been very wrong about this. And, more to the point, he had been very right.

She shook her head, a small grin playing on her lips. What was wrong with her. She was acting like a kid again. Who said you grew out of these behaviours. No one did.
She grinned again, at her own stubborn stupidity, and changed course, heading slowly along the bay, looking out at the sprawling city. It amused her, to think that so much happened, so many unbelievable things, and ninety nine percent of these people had not the slightlest clue that it happened. They were completely unaware of aliens, planetary wars and spaceships. Even more amazing, not that long ago, she had been among them.

She was still lost in thought when she reached the water tower. She saw with relief that the Tardis was still aprked in front of it, where it had shifted itself. Good. She was yet to meet the Torchwood team, and apologising could be difficult if she couldn't find the Master.

However, the man infront of the Tardis wasn't him. She'd never seen his before in her life. Why he would be banging slightly crazily on the wood of the blue doors well and truely escaped her. Old friend of the Masters? Or enemy?

She wandered up to him, and as he turned around, flashed him a friendly smile.
"Can I help you?" she asked. "You seem to be having some trouble."

"I'm not having trouble," the man said in an arrogant tone, "But for trying to help I'll give you a jelly baby."

The Doctor took something from his pockets and a realization hit him, "Oh no don't tell me... that voice."

The Doctor turned around and he saw a familiar blonde female in front of him. The Doctor dropped the bag of jelly babies he was holding and he held her shoulders and exclaimed, "Bloody hell it is you!"

The Doctor circled Rose and he said, "Rose is that..."

The Time Lord suddenly backed away from her and he said, "No, no, no, no, no! This must be a mistake! This is completely impossible. For all I know you could be a Rosita or Donna or Martha in this universe."

The Doctor walked towards Rose and he used his right hand to touch her face, "Dirty blonde hair, same eyes, same accent, same beautiful smile..."

"But where are my manners," the Doctor said as he took a step back and ruffled his hair a bit, "Uhm before we get into the I'm sorry for disturbing you and causing an outrage part, are you Rose Ty-sorry uhm...what was your other name..."

The Doctor wiggled his fingers and closed his eyes for a moment. He snapped his fingers and opened his eyes after thinking for two seconds, "Is there any chance that your name would be Rose Marion Tyler?"

Rose frowned at the man's odd behaviour. Jelly Babies? And then, when he dropped the bag he had fished out, and began circling her, she couldn't help but feel more than a little uncomfortable. She followed him with her dark eyes, wondering what to do. Should she just walk away? He didn't seem sane. And he was babbling quite a lot. Who was Donna? Or Rosita or Martha for that matter.

But out of the seemingly babble, something struck her like a slap in the face.
Her name. How did he know her name? She didn't know him. She was pretty sure she didn't know him. She'd only been here for a few weeks. But, then again, there was another Rose running around, wasn't there. Who apparently looked exactly like her. Maybe he knew her. God only knew where from, but that fitted. She tried to ignore the niggling suspicions in the back of her mind. Nonsense. Stupidity and niave hope.

Best play along. If he didn't know about the whole rift-dimension-alien thing, trying to explain that to him would be, well, best she just didn't. People tendied to think you were off your rocker when that came into the conversation.

"That would be me." she said slowly. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?"

"That would be me." she said slowly. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?"

After hearing those words from the blonde in front of him, the Eleventh's jaw was hanging, "As in Rose Marion Tyler? Daughter of Jackie and friend of Mickey the Idiot? Hah!"

The Doctor hugged Rose and kissed her forehead. The Doctor looked at Rose and he said, "Oh Rose, you don't know how glad I am in seeing you right here and right now."

The Doctor let go of Rose and he was suddenly ranting, "Of all the times I had to have the TARDIS all sentimental on me, the Intergalactic Civil War and all of this, you suddenly pop back! Isn't that wizard? Ooh...wizard. Sounds a bit to American for me. Reminds me of Hairy Potty and Snotwarts and that's just me messing with literature again."

The Doctor faced Rose and he said, "How're you? Where's the half-human me? Where's ol' Petey? I missed that old chap. I remember you having a brother, can I meet him?"

The Doctor took a deep breathe and sighed, "Well it's been quite a long time. It's been what-200 years? Well 200 for me, you know how kind time is to me."

The Doctor looked at Rose and he said, "And to answer your question earlier, you do know me. I just look quite a bit different. Well a tad different. Still have great hair, but not the same hair. The mole's gone. I loved that mole. But it's still me."

:::In this version the whole meta-doctor/darlek invasion thing never happened. This is from the first time in Pete's world, and she came through the dimensions to this one, looking for the doctor. read her ap for more info.:::

He knew Mickey? And Jackie? Again, it could still be this universe's Rose. She had a mother, and an ex-boyfriend. Well, she assumed she did. They'd not actually met. To be honest, no one seemed so keen on the idea. She thought it would be interesting, to say the least, although also a tad creepy, and extremely odd she imagined, but interesting none the less. However, the talk of time loops and the like put a halt to the idea. Maybe it could do harm.

The man was still babbling, about what Rose wasn't so sure, he was going at a hundred and ten miles an hour.

Then.

You do know me. I just look quite a bit different

That treacherous hope bubbled up inside her again, and this time she couldn't push it down.
It all fitted. The Tardis. The babbling. The hundred-and-ten-mile-an-hour talking. The familiarity, the shock at seeing her.
She knew how damn unlikely it was. She knew that she was in an entirely random and seperate dimension, and the impossible coincidence that he'd amazingly landed in tha same one, when you weren't supposed to be able to get through the wall anyway.

But still, she couldn't supress the traitorous hope.

"Doctor?" she whispered, unable to believe that it could really, truly be him.

The Doctor observed Rose's facial expression and once he heard his name, he ruffled his hair with his right hand and he smiled, "Ahhh. She does remember me."

The Doctor placed his hands on his pockets and he said, "Time Lord, enemy of the Daleks, Oncoming Storm. All in one package and he's just in front of you. Hello Rose."

The Doctor touched Rose's nose with his index finger and he smiled, "Why're you looking a bit funny at my face? This is usually the scene where you go teary-eyed and hug me you know."

The Doctor looked at the sky impassively and remained that way for a couple of minutes. He then looked at Rose with an enthusiastic expression on his face and he said, "Now I remembered what I should have remembered earlier!"

The Doctor kneeled to pick up the bag of jelly babies he dropped and he offered it to Rose, "Want to try a jelly baby?"

The Doctor took out a jelly baby and popped it into his mouth, "Yummy!"

The Doctor popped another jelly baby in his mouth and he was sucking off the 'sweetness' and stickyness of the jelly baby off his finger, "You know if I had a little shop on the Hospital near New New York, I'd probably make a profit out of all these jelly babies, but of course the cats there wouldn't like it. Their species are allergic to sweets like this."

The Doctor offered the bag of jelly babies once more to Rose, "Come on don't be shy! One, two or three pieces wouldn't give you tooth ache."

Rose stared at the Doctor, taking in the new face, but with the same unique personality that even the many regenerations couldn't completely change.

As he began to babble again about jelly babies, she laughed with disbelief.
However, soon, she couldn't stop, and she found herself laughing. Just laughing, until her stomach hurt and tears sprung from her eyes. She leaned against the Tardis as she gasped for breath between the laughter. She didn't know what was so funny, and as swiftly as it had begun, the laughter faded, leaving her shaking, with tears pouring down her face and a sadness welling up in her heart. She tipped her head back against the closed Tardis door, lifting it straight again to stare at the Doctor through her dark brown, red rimmed eyes.

"After all that's happened, all you do is offer me a jelly baby?" she asked in a quiet voice. As she said the comment she realised where the tears were coming from. For so long, the Doctor had been her life, all she'd hoped for and damn-well almost all she'd lived for.
By some random, unbelievable coincidence, or maybe even fate, she'd been brought back to him. But their reunion definitly hadn't gone as she'd dreamt. It seemed that she hadn't meant as much to him as she'd thought she did.

"Of course I remember you. You have no idea. I've searched for you. I've lived waiting. And what-" her voice strengthened. "You don't even care? You just take it in your stride?"

The Doctor pocketed the bag of jelly babies into his pocket and hugged her, "Now, now..."

The Doctor looked at Rose and took out a handkerchief. He used it to wipe her tears away and he said, "Wouldn't it be better if you didn't cry and just smile?"

The Doctor smiled and he said, "Oh Rose, I agree with Shakespeare saying Parting is such sweet sorrow. But you know what, there's no such thing as a good bye. Because there'll always be a hello and a hi. Hello Rose!"

"If you think that you've got it worse, mine's the worst. Two hundred years of missing you and regretting on why oh why did I ever let you be sent here," the Doctor told Rose as he looked into her eyes, "And you know what, I'm never letting you out of my sight this time. You'll be stuck with me again, as usual and probably go to Barcelona."

The Doctor let go of Rose and he placed his hands in his pockets, "So tell me on what's up in this world?"

Rose hiccuped with a small smile at the Doctor. She felt herself go a little red as she realised how immature she'd been.
Oh the joys of being a human.
Weren't you supposed to get over all this in your teenage years?
Then again, you never got over emotions, and Rose had always had strong reactions to those, even more so when it concerned the Doctor.
She smiled again.
"Oh, you know, just hanging out. Jumped through the walls between dimensions-" she punched his arm lightly "-looking for you mister. Ended up in the wrong one and been stuck here ever since. Although I did run into the Master. You wouldn't believe it, he's exactly like you! And apparently there's a Rose on this planet. Dimension. Whatever, that's exactly like me. Well, duh. And her and the Master are together. He kised me and everything, before we worked out what had happened." she took a breath and continued. "Oh, and here, your prime minister, and not a very nice person. I've met you, I can vouch for that. Right meany with your plans for domination." she grinned.

"We never did go to Barcelona, did we." she said with a sad smile. "The regeneration, and the invasion and everything got in the way. And then we went off, and the lockdown on New Earth...." she trailed off as the memories of these adventures came to mind. They had been some of her first with e Doctor, at least as his previous regeneration.
"So, two hundred years? Seriously? What have you been doing with yourself? And what caused this...you know." she added, gesturing to the Doctor.

"Really now?" the Doctor said with a grin after hearing Rose's adventures in finding him ," Well that's nice, well a bit dull."

After hearing the Master's name the Doctor looked wary and he didn't pay attention to Rose's explanations on this dimensions' Master and Doctor, "The Master? That's impossible!"

"I finished him off. Two hundred years ago," the Doctor said as he looked around and he heard Rose's last questions, "Well for Two Hundred Years, I've been running around and such. Made new friends from old enemies. Met a man who I would very much like to be the Next Doctor and he did assume the mantle of being the Doctor, until I came in and revealed the truth to him. If you met him, oh you'll probably believe he's me."

"What caused this," the Doctor said as he looked back at the TARDIS, "There's a War going on in my world. Another War with the Daleks, who actually managed to break the laws of time and space and weaken the walls of the worlds. I'm actually with war with them, alongside the Judoon and the Trees of course. You remember the Trees right? Lute, Jabe and Coffa right above the Earth being roasted by the sun."

"But being with you here is better. It's nice to have a little break from the war. Well I've had long breaks with companions up and about, but this is so perfect!" the Doctor said and he beamed at Rose like Father Christman. The Doctor suddenly looked serious and he took out a radar-like device. He plugged his sonic screwdriver into it and he said, "Now we're going Time Lord hunting."

The Doctor dragged Rose's hand and ran through the streets of Cardiff while looking at his radar-sonic screwdriver, "So anything else I should know while I'm here? Torchwood or something? I hope a straight Jack Harkness. I'm okay with omnisexuals as long as they don't kiss me or fancy me like the Jack in our dimension. Speaking of our Jack, he's currently the Head of Torchwood and the Time Agents alike. How perfect is that?"

Rose frowned.
"They're back? Again? Can we not get rid of those things. What worlds are they terrorising now?"

She was taken aback as the Doctor grabbed her hand, already pulling her along with him as he ran.
She tried to remember if it had always been like this. She was pretty sure it had. Already, she could see why she had stuck with the Doctor for so long, why she had been convinced she would spend the rest of her life, however long or short it was, because you could never be sure doing what they did.

Well, used to do.
Though judging from this, it wouldn't be long until they were back at it again. Rose was just hoping to get away from this planet. Everyone had been nice. But it was just weird. Everything was backwards. And she was certainly a third wheel.

The Doctor spoke as they were running.
How sweet. He'd rather be here in an alternate dimension with her than saving lives from the Darleks. Actually, that was rather sweet coming from him.
"Wait. TimeLord hunting? Why?" she asked. Hadn't he heard her. The Doctor and the Master were sorting themselves out.
"And I don't know, I've not met anyone except the Doctor and the Master. Their Doctor and Master anyway. But a 'normal' Jack isn't possible in any dimensio-" he was paying such close attention to his sonic screwdriver - it looked like it had had some adaptions - that she couldn't even tell if she was talking to no one.
"Are you even listening to me?"

"A little," the Doctor said as he peeked into a corner and smacked his radar on the wall, "Well that's better!"

The Doctor pulled Rose into an alley and he looked at a blue police box in front of him, "We're going to see the Time Lord inside that TARDIS."

The Doctor took out the sonic screwdriver from his 'radar' and pocketed the radar. The Doctor twirled the sonic screwdriver in the air and he said, "It's got a bit of some new features this time 'round. It can emit sonic booms now. Busts robotic circuits to blow up a Cyberman and it's not fatal to organics. But the living target of course will be sent flying back to a wall due to the sheer force of a sonic boom. Probably knock them unconscious."

"Now," the Doctor said as he took out a key and he said, "Let's see if my TARDIS key fits in the TARDIS keyhole of the TARDIS right there."

The Doctor inserted the key into the keyhole and he grinned, "Not a bad fit."

"Now Rose," the Doctor said as he took out a pen and gave it to her, "That's a Laser Pen. Press the button on the side and it'll emit a laser good enough to slice up a wall made of Dalekanium. Use it with extreme caution ok? Because when I burst through this door, you might get hurt. Okay? When I say three we get in alright? One, two, THREE!"

The Doctor opened the door of the TARDIS with his sonic screwdriver raised he aimed it at the person inside the TARDIS and he said, "Hands at the back of your head and face me right now!"
(For replies to this 'event' let's head to the Master's TARDIS)
