2010 MTV VMA PERFORMANCES
It's that time again. Every year about this time, the music world stands still for the night where these musicians get dressed up and grace the red carpet for the annual MTV Music Video Awards. This year, they have moved to Las Vegas and just like any other year, everyone knows that something is bound to happen. This year, Friends or Enemies have your exclusive first look of the performances by the bands that are performing at this year awards. During the night, I will be posting videos directly after each band performs and so look out for your favourite bands.

STAR GIRL - BURNING EMPIRES AND BROKEN HEROES
Tonight, the VMA's were kicked off in style with two bands nominated in numerous categories being combinded for a performance. Burning Empires and Broken heroes did a combinded performance of the song 'Star Girl' which pretty much had every girl in the building going insane.
DISTURBIA - RIHANNA
Next to hit the stage was none other then Rihanna with her chat topping hit 'Disturbia.' As per usual, Rihanna did an amazing job.

ABOUT A GIRL- GOLDMINE VALENTINE
Instead of performing the song which Goldmine Valentine was nominated for in the Video of the Year category which was 'The Phrase that Pays', GV performed a song which is one of the hits with fans which is of course 'About A Girl' which got the crowd pretty much pumping.
POPPIN' CHAMPANGE - HYSTERIA
Next to hit the stage was one of the hottest bands this year, Hysteria and they performed their highly successful song which is also nominated this year for Video of the Year, 'Poppin' Champange'. It's not hard to tell why this song is one of their many successful songs. Keep up the good work.

RUN, DON'T WALK - THANK GOD WE'RE IMMORTAL
Next to perform were the beautiful girls of Thank God We're Immortal and they performed one of their new songs 'Run, Don't walk' which I will admit is quite a catchy song. You guys would also know that Thank God We're Immortal is nominated for three awards tonight.
RUSH - LUCAS SANTEL AND TEGAN MILLER
This was probably one of the most anticipated performances of the night. Lucas and Tegan are nominated in numerous categories tonight and they did a duet of the song 'Rush' which was performed brillantly by both of them. Both Tegan and Lucas are favourites to walk away with at least one Moon Man tonight, and this performance does show why.

BEST I'VE EVER HAD - ROME
The new kid on the block for this years VMAs was Rome and he was set to perform the song which got him nominated for Best New Artist which is 'Best I've Ever Had.' However, at the beginning of the performance, Rome ended up slipping and did something to his knee, he had to be helped from stage by the crew at the VMAs. We hope that Rome is fine and that he didn't do any serious damange to his knee.
UNTOUCHED - THE GREAT ROMANCE
The last band to perform tonight wasn't expected at all but it was a nice surprise to see them perform, especially after what happened to Rome on stage. The Great Romance, which are also nominated for a number of awards tonight performed their hit new single 'Untouched' and they showed why they are one of the most popular bands this year.
