Welcome to the official Opening of Shadow's Embrace. Though it has just been open for a few hours, I as Admin of the forum would like to welcome all. If you need anything you may PM me or ask in the Cbox. I am definitely excited to see what characters are brought to the forum. Speaking of the forum. Let me state the most obvious about what is currently open and not open for play. Along with the setting and what may or may not happen.

First off, Demon Dead. They are not open for creation. As such the section “Shadow Lands” in Hell is not available for play. It will open depending on popularity. No reason to have a section that is going to be ignored and left empty. That also goes for Demon Dead walking the Realms. Please if you are considering to make one, just let me know and once I get a good amount of interest, you will sure be seeing them open for creation.

The next on the list, Guardians. They are also not open for creation...yet. We may have a few NPCs ruling around. Due in part to the incredible lack of information about Guardians. We know they are like Demon Dead, but not. That they are like the living but not. Since we have no clear ground to work with, we will not be opening them up for play. That does not mean that characters can not visit the Keep. After all it is the place all Blood can go to for one reason or another. It also holds things that may or may not be of value. So have fun and walk the dark walls of Ebon Askavi.

Province and District Rulers are temporarily closed. Once we get the Territory Rulers in placed, we will slowly be opening more and more areas as time goes by. Right now think of everything just in brainstorm mode. There is enough for expansion and time is what gives way to expansion. Lets not get ahead of ourselves, or we will be tripping over our own feet.

The High Lord....this one may be an NPC or may be a PC. Nothing has been set in stone and a lot of it is being worked over. There may or may not be a contest to see whom is interested in playing a young, and yes living, High Lord. To the Blood the very first to ever walk the Realms. I'm sure it would be much much fun.

As for the setting of the Forum. It's very simple. The Blood are at War with each other. Warlord Princes are losing control due to the lack of Queens. Queens are fewer and fewer and most are due to being killed by a rival Queen or an ambitious Warlord Prince. Dark Jewels are present amongst each gender. It's just incredibly rare and few amongst the Queens...those who are born anyways. Or even walk away from their Virgin Night. Honor and trust are few, the Old ways almost forgotten. The few who know and hold to it are even fewer. As of right now, anything goes. Things can change for the better or break into pieces. So don't worry about going against the setting or “plot”. There is no plot other than to survive. Whatever happens happens. Hell if you want we can even start a War between the Realms. As long as we are all having fun, why not?
