Welcome one and all. It's been a month since we officially opened and we seem to be getting off to a very good start. I'd like to say thankyou to all the members who followed us over from the old site, and offer a very warm welcome to the new faces.

Upcoming Flights:
While we're still getting things sorted out in terms of dates, we do have a couple of matings which are set to be happening soon.

Green Alazandriath - Young Alazandriath is setting up to be the first of her class to rise. Having refused to chew firestone, this maiden flight will result in an on-screen clutching and hatching. This is a chance for all colours of males to become a father, so we hope to see a number of people making a go of this.

Gold Kyth - With a number large males now active, and hopefully a few more to come, it's time for Kyth to be making another flight. However, due to Kyth's status as an NPC, and the fact that several of our browns/silvers/bronzes are played by staff, to avoid any favouritism, and give everyone a fair chance at the prize, the flight will be run in an unusual manner, with everyone who wants a chance to win posting once to enter their characters and the winner then being chosen by randomiser from the males entered.

Gold Saffron - At a full turn old, Gold Firelizard Saffron is due to be making her maiden flight. All bronzes and browns are encouraged to test their might and try to win this pretty lady.

Current Lessons:
We currently have two lessons going on, one for the candidates and one for the weyrlings.

Candidate Lesson - The candidates are improving their reflexes by playing dodge ball. Come join in and see if you can be the last one standing.
Weyrling Lesson - The Zombie Apocalypse Weyrlings are learning to chew firestone. There are some interesting things in store and all weyrlings are encouraged to attend.

Weyrling Updates:
Zombie Apocalypse Weyrlings are currently 12 months old. They are expected to be graduating at the start of April. There are still several adoptable weyrlings left in the class.

Season:
Currently we're about half way through Spring. At the end of February the season will be changing to summer, so keep an eye out for the new weather.

Current Events:
Egg Search - The search is on for any clutches which might be hidden among the sands of the beach. Any characters who wish a chance at a new pet should make their way down and join in the efforts. We promise you wont be disappointed by what's in store.

Upcoming Events:
1st Hatching - With two clutching females soon to rise, the 1st hatching is approaching. This will be a double clutch, so there will be plenty of chances to impress.

Contests:
Advertising - We will be holding an Advertising contest in the near future. However, before we start it up, we would like to get some suggestions from everyone on what you would all like to see in the prize pool.
