He had been avoiding this place ever since Marle disappeared. He couldn't blame her--who would want to be stuck on this island? The brunette stood outside of the doorway of the bar, staring up at the sign.
Which made him think--why didn't he just leave? Perhaps it was the memories, perhaps it was the idea of home. Adel just puled his coat tighter around him. Winter was upon them and of course, it just had to snow. Even if he wanted to leave, the damn blizzard would have prevented him from doing so in the first place. He sighed and dropped his head. What was he doing here?
What started out as a simple walk turned into this--a trip to the bar. His lips thinned out and the cold wind touched his face. Alright, he needed a drink or two. Without a second thought, he walked into the warmth of the bar and glanced around. Not much of a change, he thought. "Hello? Anyone here?" Adel called out, pulling off his jacket and his gloves.
