Oh God, Goddess and any other deity that could possibly exist, Nathaniel was freaking out. When had he signed himself up for a blind date and why had he done that? He seriously couldn't remember anything leading up to this point. Had he been drinking? He couldn't remember if he'd been drinking either! The reason why he was here right now almost an hour early, anxiously pacing back and forth had only just recently hit him and he didn't know what to do!

Okay, okay no he needed to calm down. Freaking out wasn't going to help anything. If anything his freaking out would probably only help to freak his date out when she got here and- he wasn't ready for this.

No, no, take deep breaths, Nathaniel. He could do this. There was nothing to get so worked up about. Maybe he'd signed himself up, not so much for the romance aspect of the whole thing but just as another helper to help him meet new people? But...but what if she was interested in the romance aspect of this whole thing? What would he do then? He couldn't just tell them 'Uh, sorry, but that's not what I signed up for'. That was exactly what he'd signed up for!

And no Nathaniel you're not making this any better for yourself. Do something relaxing, like... Like the pretty flowers that were growing all around! Yes he could just keep himself busy by picking flowers, examining them and not thinking about his date that could be arriving any minute now. He'd deal with her when she got here but for now it was flower picking time.

Cecilia had been sooooo excited when she saw that there was going to be blind dates for the moon viewing festival. She just had to sign up! Who could turn down something so exciting and romantic as a blind date? Definitely not Cecilia, she just had to go.

It had been even more exciting for her when she found out that she didn't know her date so it really was going to be a blind date. She had no idea who this Nathaniel Hunter was but she was excited anyways. It didn't make her nervous that she didn't know who he was or his personality or anything.

That night as she walked to Nigella garden, she was humming and skipping. She spotted a lone male who seemed to be picking flowers. He looked kind of nervous which was cute. She smiled and made her way over to him. "Are you Nathaniel?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She wasn't one to think of personal space at first. "I'm Cecilia! But you can call me Ceci~."

Picking and studying flowers and not thinking about you-know-what was actually starting to work a little. Nathaniel was finally able to calm down significantly. Actually, he'd gotten so lost in what he was doing that he completely forgot why he was here in the first place. It was only when he heard someone call his name, which startled him greatly.

He turned in the direction that the voice came from and found himself unable to say anything to answer her question. The hug, which he really hadn't been suspecting, just caused him to freeze up as he just barely registered what she said.

Yes, this Cecilia girl was cute and yes, he would love to talk to her and such but that was kind of hard when all you were practically frozen solid. Come on, Nathaniel! Do or say something!

After opening and closing his mouth, failing to make any sound, he instead stiffly thrust the flowers he had picked in Cecilia's direction. T-t-t-t-t-these a-a-are f-f-f-for y-you! I-I-I-I h-h-hope y-you l-l-l-like them!" Yes, progress. Now his introduction. "I-I'm N-N-N-Nathaniel, b-b-but j-just c-c-call me N-N-Nathan, i-if t-t-that's e-easier for y-you!" Okay, yes, he spoke. Maybe a little too loudly, maybe stuttering somewhat fierce, but he stuck to it and said something and he was quite proud of himself. Proud and embarrassed.
